I would also add angles/poses and body type/color season.

We don't usually walk around posing like pinterest models. We for interest wouldn't lean and pose up against a wall or stand in an ultra glam pose.

Pinterest is the worst in my opinion. I always end up leaving the app feeling empty and obsessing over outfits that I must purchase.😒

Oh I feel the same about Instagram sometimes. Taking a break from it can be helpful, just being in real life and sourcing inspiration from my daily life instead of looking online. That usually helps me get a better grip of what is important and realistic for my style.

One of the best ideas was given to me by an ex French model ..... Try your outfit on ..... Take a Polaroid ..... Notice what needs tweaking. Far easier these days with digital! I have often taken that photo with me to my closet and realised that another skirt or shoes works better for me.
Great advice ..... Subscribed. Will be interested to see you grow!

That is a great tip, I understand that helps! I do a similar thing and when I find something that works I save it in my phone for the future. Thank you for subscribing! :)

Exactly what I do, and there's usually something. Then when I love the photos I check for what I like.

Incredibly wasteful. This is the thinking that got us the climate, biodiversity and consumption crises we have.

@@lizziebkennedy7505 What do you mean? We were saying that experimenting with different combinations of the clothes you own is a good thing :)

I agree so much! I loved scrolling pinterest for outfits and got frustrated by how they looked on me oftentime. A) My bodyshape, meaning that still majorily skinny size 2 girls outfits are seen on pinterest. Of course it will look a little different on different bodyshapes. B) As you mentioned, the pictures in itself. Comparing yourself in the mirror, where youre moving to a standstill picture of an outfit, somewhere in a fancy scenery which probably needed several tries and might even be retouched, is simply nonsense.
So what I do now, even though I quit my pinterest habbit is looking for specific items that keep coming up in outfits I like, shoes or a specific type of bag and going on vinted/depop to buy that item rather than recreating a whole look.

So true! Comparing ourselves to others is no good, especially not when it comes to something so individual as style. Kudos to you for being able to change your pinterest habit into something more useful!

Great video! As you mention loving Pinterest, would you please give your pinterest account to use as fashion inspo ?
And hope that this doesn't come off as rude but I think that for future videos investing in a mic would make a huge difference!
Good luck on your TH-cam journey !

And no worries at all - I have bought a mic now so hopefully my next video will be a lot better in sound quality. Thank you ☺
