11:20 Pretty sure it is a different statue as they speak of this one as their village's own. Presumably like Himmel there is more than one set of Kraft and priest statues.
Oh that’s scene was not this village but their own!? They just share the same statues? Yeah that makes sense. Why would these kids and himmel come all the way out here.
Seeing Kraft as a warrior hero brings back his words to Frieren when they first met. When Fern told him that she was the mage in the party of heroes that defeated the Demon King, he asked Frieren what she was before that. “What do you mean,” she asked, and he said, “We are elves.” This hinted that as elves, they could take on different roles throughout their long lives. So while Kraft is a warrior monk now, he was a sword-wielding hero prior. For all we know, he could have defeated a demon king or some other big threat (Sauron, Melkior) in ages past. Edited out a glaring mistake. ^_^
Oh do you mean Kraft? Ahh yes I think I remember him asking her that question! Thanks for the reminder! Your memory is so amazing Wrex! Haha sorry for our terrible one! So curious who he defeated also! It very well could have been a Sauron or even a melkior! Love the lotr reference! I’ve been reading up on Melkior and the ainur semi recently! I need to actually read the silmarillion sometime.
I am absolutely convinced there is some time travel eventually in this story and Sein went back in time and fought and saved people with Kraft before Frieren was a hero.. That statue looks EXACTLY like him, goatee and everything. And this author doesn't seem to put anything in the story for no reason.. Also the flashbacks to the Hero's Sword with Stark, that HAS to be something huge down the line! I hope Stark gets that sword!

Man if I had magic i'd be like Mickey with the mops in Fantasia, i'd NEVER do another dish or chore ever again lol
9:15 Too old, the term Sein uses in Japanese is associated with the idea of a "sexy older sister," rather than someone who is actually elderly.
Haha yeah does he use お姉さん? I was mostly joking but maybe? Not sure how far on the spectrum of older he liked lmao! 🤣
