I LOVE the matchy matchy eye looks! I think I'm the only person who didn't like the It's My Pleasure (Purple) palette. I liked the matte formula, but was hoping for more purple mattes, not pinkey brown, as you described. The shimmers were all very lacklustre, at least on me. I tried it 5 times than gave it to my sister, lol. THIS palette looks like it would work for me. That first matte purple you used would be worth the price of the palette (during a sale). I'm in Canada, so I don't order from them a lot, but I love their super shock and jelly shadows, and want to try more of the line.
I havent used the purple palette enough, but that sucks about the shimmers. I think ive only used one or two of them so far lol. This palette is def nice tho

Watimg for mine to arrive. I'm surprised at just how much I've ended up liking - loving Colour Pop. I'm a sucker for purples, lilacs, mauves, pinks, and blues; so, this is a palette that I really want to add to my collection. And there's no glitter shade in this one. Win! Great look.
The look you did is beautiful! But I'm passing on this one for the same reason I passed on the coloured Raine power palette. I bought that big purple/pink palette and I love it! The formula is good and it's so many different pinks and purples. I especially love the middle row of shimmers. As for depotting all my colourpop monochromatic palettes I did that about two weeks ago, along with all my other colourpop palettes and I love it. I kept the color stories together as they were in the palette, but I loved being able to see all the colors at once. I've actually been on a depotting streak lately. I bought a bunch of empty palettes and metal magnet stickers recently. I have depotted 18 palettes so far and I'm far from done. I love seeing all the colors together and I love creating palettes using color stories of one's that have come out. It's been saving me money because it helps me to realize I have those colors already.

Hello Annette, I'm waiting for my palette to arrive today. I ordered it the day it came out. At first I wasn't going to get it. But something told me get it before it sells out. The eye look you did is very pretty. You alway do some awesome looks. I wish I had your skills. But I tried to create one of your eye looks with the ABH Subculture palette and it look like a little kid did my makeup. But I will continue to practice. I hope I get better. Every time I loving troll IMP tho I think to myself that it's all wrong. The dark purples are shimmers. Not enough mattes. Now Lilac 💖💕 it's a super pale, cool toned girl's dream. Gahhhh! I’m still waiting for my Kathleen Lights palette to arrive 😭 I ordered it like 3 weeks ago. My first ever order from colourpop. Although I love love love the look of this little palette and most of the other monochromatic palettes, I’d really like to get my first order first. I’m a bit annoyed really, the longest Ive had to wait for an order from the US was 10 days. You created a very pretty look though! I thought there was enough tonal difference in the shades you used to make it look complete. And that green eyeliner was a perfect choice!
Did the two darkest shades stain your lids or skin? Lilac you a lot is just so pretty, even its not as versatile as It's my pleasure, I am intrigued to get both palettes
@@AnnettesMakeupCorner Yes, the bright reds, pinks and some purples from Colourpop always have *Not intended for use in the immediate eye area.* warning. Did you get stain from the Menagerie Cosmetics Violet Ink palette?
@@ange1atsang Yea that one did stain from what I can remember, but a LOT of the menagerie shadows stain my eyes because of how much pure pigment is in the shadows. Doesnt bother me tho, I just cover it up the next day anyway lol
i love the look you did but i feel like i've already done similar looks with the purples i currently own so the lilac palette is a pass (i'm also concerned most of the shades are going to be too light on me) i'm still eyeing the blue, green, and the first purple though as i already own the pink one. i like the idea of depotting them all and putting them into a big palette so then you can just pop whatever colors and color story you create with them in the now empty palette for traveling
New to your channel, so sorry if you've already done this and I haven't seen it yet. Would you try doing a video using both the purple palettes? Maybe doing a few different looks. I love purple and I'm really considering getting both because I don't have any good purples in my current collection. I think it'd be interesting what you could do with more shades to have more variation in your eye look (although I do think this one looked amazing!)
Thanks for the suggestion, but I probably wont be doing that, I have so many other videos on my list to film that I doubt it will ever make it to the top. Those kind of videos never perform well unfortunately

Yeh, no pressed glitters and another pretty look. Like that all shades in the Colourpop palettes are magnetic, but unfortunately they are not labelled with the names.
I've added mini labels on the back as I have the habit of gravitating towards the same shades. So to prevent doubles when I buy singles, it comes in handy to have the names as sometimes I don't know anymore from what palette they are.
Are you thinking about trying the so jaded palette by colour pop? It looks really pretty I’m just not great at envisioning all you can do with the pallet so I was just wondering if that was something that peaks your interest with the color story or something that you might want to try

No, I actually didnt have any staining with this, and I tend to always get staining from pinks and purples!

Did you get stain from the Menagerie Cosmetics Violet Ink palette?
@@ange1atsang Yea that one did stain from what I can remember, but a LOT of the menagerie shadows stain my eyes because of how much pure pigment is in the shadows. Doesnt bother me tho, I just cover it up the next day anyway lol

i love the look you did but i feel like i've already done similar looks with the purples i currently own so the lilac palette is a pass (i'm also concerned most of the shades are going to be too light on me) i'm still eyeing the blue, green, and the first purple though as i already own the pink one. i like the idea of depotting them all and putting them into a big palette so then you can just pop whatever colors and color story you create with them in the now empty palette for traveling
Yeah I dont think the shades are all that unique really, and I'm sure I could have made this exact look with something I already own too

New to your channel, so sorry if you've already done this and I haven't seen it yet. Would you try doing a video using both the purple palettes? Maybe doing a few different looks. I love purple and I'm really considering getting both because I don't have any good purples in my current collection. I think it'd be interesting what you could do with more shades to have more variation in your eye look (although I do think this one looked amazing!)
Thanks for the suggestion, but I probably wont be doing that, I have so many other videos on my list to film that I doubt it will ever make it to the top. Those kind of videos never perform well unfortunately

Yeh, no pressed glitters and another pretty look. Like that all shades in the Colourpop palettes are magnetic, but unfortunately they are not labelled with the names.
Yeah that could be a problem if you want the names, but you could just look up the palettes online if you wanted to
I've added mini labels on the back as I have the habit of gravitating towards the same shades. So to prevent doubles when I buy singles, it comes in handy to have the names as sometimes I don't know anymore from what palette they are.
Are you thinking about trying the so jaded palette by colour pop? It looks really pretty I’m just not great at envisioning all you can do with the pallet so I was just wondering if that was something that peaks your interest with the color story or something that you might want to try
