When you go to the “triad” is your index finger holding down the b string on the 3rd fret? Coz you don’t mention that but it looks like it is… but it makes a different sound each time you play it??
Would it be better for me to buy a ukelele or a guitar to learn to play hip-hop type songs ? Also I’ve never used either before so it would be my first time learning.
If I were you I would just get whatever instrument I thought I was going to play the most. Spend some time on it and then get the other when you have the cash. I have some of my affordable uke and guitar options in my description links if you’re interested.

Technically it’s the last 4 strings. Your ring finger should be on the D string. High E would either be open with capo or muted if you’re playing without capo.

Yeah everything is standard. It could be your guitar doesn’t hold a tune properly, which is very common. Almost all guitars fluctuate a bit. Could also be your tuner is not set to A440. What are the tunes?
can you make the tabs relative to the capo? its easier to understand
Just fast forward and learn the no capo version first then throw your capo on. It’s like two notes you need the capo for anyways.
