My dog Kama just died this noon. It hit me like a ton of bricks, I was devastated. He was my first dog/best friend. When I was scared at night I heard his foot steps then I felt safe again. He slept outside of my room (which had wood floors) a few months later his back left leg lost signal. So he trips, (especially on wood floor) so we put carpet there. Several months later it got worse. He couldn't even run. So we decided to put him down. I was with him while he was passing it hit me more because a few months later after my birth my dad got Kama. So he was there for me my entire life up until now. When he passed I said "I love you, no one can replace you I can't wait to join you," later I know he's still in my heart looking at me right now. I love you Kama~💕
I lost my cat due to cancer a little over a month ago. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think about her and wish she was with me. I hope you never have to experience it

I once had a girl dog that died early. Do you know why she died? All her life she had a liver problem. She wouldn’t let me pick her up because of her liver problems. When we all went to the emergency vet, we got the news that she was dead. I was DEVASTATED. It was so heartbreaking. Coincidentally, it was on Halloween. Today, I have 2 dogs and 1 cat.

I know how you feel, trust me. I had a very Traumatizing event happen to me when I was 12. One day, my parents went on vacation so they took my dogs, Lei Lei and Phoenix to the vet for boarding, while I was staying with my grandparents along with my 4 brothers. Well, when my parents were getting Lei Lei and Phoenix put of the car (btw in case anyone cares they r both Australian Shepards), but Lei Lei got out of her leash. She took off running behind the Target by the vets office and then into the woods. My parents spent days trying to find her and so many people helped. Keep in mind that I did not know about this until after the incident happened So a few days later, my mother spotted Lei Lei underneath a family’s deck. She was scared and hungry. So my parents tried to get her to come out, but Lei Lei refused. The next day, my mother got a call from the police department at 2:00 A.M. The police had horrible news. Lei Lei had been found, but not in a good way. Around midnight, she had wandered into the road behind the woods, and she was practically invisible due to how dark it was. So when a car came speeding down the road, it was clear that the driver didn’t see her. Lei Lei has been hit by that car.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 To this day (about a year later) I still miss Lei Lei. She was my best friend. I loved her so much. But she “crossed the rainbow bridge” to pet heaven. I guess it was her time. I still have Phoenix, who obviously misses Lei Lei, who was her birth sister. But we are all slowly recovering. And something like this has ever happened to you, It will be ok. Have a great day. Sorry for wasting your time because u read my comment! 😬

I remember seeing this 3 years ago and thinking about my (then) 14 yr old German Shepherd. Now, I am back here a day after she has passed. She lived such a happy life but it feels so wrong to look out the window and not see her wondering around or digging in the dirt. I miss her so much but it’ll be ok ❤️

Since then, I’ve helped some stray kitties around my neighbor and I even adopted two. I’m sure she’s happy in heaven right now and she’s probably chasing skunks :) so don’t be sad because she inspired me to help more innocent animals (we rescued her from a bad situation).
This reminded me of my long lost cat, its heartbreaking to lose something so valuable to you... But sometimes you need just to move on, no matter how painful. Say your goodbye's, honor them, and assure yourself that you did everthing to keep she/he happy. May all animals rest in peace.

I feel you bro, I had a dog once who got killed aswell, here's the story: Me and my family were eating pizza and watching a movie, while my dog was inside my room, she barked loud and was scared that it was raining while looking out the window, she went a bit crazy, but before we knew we forgot to lock the pet door, and she got out and went to her cage, but.. She accidently locked herself inside the cage, there was high winds outside and it was a TORNADO warning the news had just said... We were worried about her outside we went to our basement and slept there the whole night, after I woke up her cage was OPEN, my neighbour's house was a bit annihilated, but a year later, we found out she died, me and my parents and brother and friends cried for her, especially me, she was like my BFF.. R.I.P Buttercup, my dog.. 😭😭😭😭😭 Edit: I made this in 2020, this happened around 2014-2015, she got out of her cage after the winds scared her and she ran away. We never knew what happened to Buttercup but me and my family and friends will ALWAYS remember her :) 🐶 she is with Leo now :D

I understand how this kid feels, a couple of years ago, I had a chocolate Labrador called Maurice. We did everything together. Unfortunately, when he was 8, he developed cancer in his toe, which spread to the rest of his body. We decided to put him down rather than have him die in pain. But, we all have to face death one day, and I still miss Maurice to this day ❤🐶

I basically had the same experience with my previous doggo, called Max. I had him for all of my life, until June of 2019 when he had to be put down due to complications of old age. I have my new doggo now called Benny, and I think that, if Max was still alive, he and Benny would be best friends. It’s hard losing a family member that you care a lot about, specially a pet. It’s always so hard moving on from a pet’s death, but life goes on, and they’ll be in a better place.
I cried i bit in this video because this is a similar thing that heppend to me i had a golden retriever too called Whiffy. I loved him and he loved me. He was quite an old dog but he was very energetic! We took him as many places as we could so we were always with him. But one day he was starting getting ill, and as the days went on, it got worse. Me and my family were hoping for the best and wanted to spend much more time with him. Then one sad day i went to school like a normal day and when i got home, i was told the news. Whiffy had sadly had to be put to sleep because of his illness and i think it was the saddest day of my life. I will never forget him, he will always be in my heart. He also gave me a chance to get off my homework because i went into school and actually had to tell my teacher that my dog had eaten my homework. Once again, Whiffy will never be forgotten. R.I.P Whiffy

I can relate. I had a puppy when I was 3. We pretty much spent time together, too. I would always feed her, take her on morning walks, sleep with her, play with her. After around 7 years later, she went into surgery because something happened to her stomach so she went to surgery. It was a success but she was also really weak. A year later, she was already severely weak. She can barely eat, walk or play with me so I always have to carry her. My family didn't really have enough money to take her to the vet so there was nothing we could do. 3 days before her birthday, she died beside me while sleeping. It's already been a year now and I still miss her so much. I always keep a picture of me and my dog with me whenever I go somewhere. But I'm really happy that she could already rest in peace because she went through so much pain and I know she needs to rest now. I'm really thankful that I got to spend nearly 9 years with my dog :)

I can relate so much to this story, it’s not even funny. I had a dog like no other. His name was Boomer. He was a German Shepherd and he would protect me no matter what was going on. He was the best dog a man could ask for. He would always play catch with me, walk with me, and even rolled around in snow with me. He unfortunately by the age of 10 had many pains throughout his body. He would always limp, fall over, you name it. But he still never left my side. When he was 12, his time had just sadly come. I spent the whole night with him, and I’m glad I did, because the next day, he was put down. If he was still alive, I but you he wouldn’t leave my side. But dead or alive, he will never leave my heart.
I understand, as of now I have an 8 year old dog named Brooklyn, she was diagnosed with Lymphoma and it had spread to every organ of her body. We are currently saying our “goodbyes” even though I know I’ll see her again. We are going to let her pass on where she’s most comfortable (my house) She is a black lab and I’m glad she’s going to go to heaven and be free. Brooklyn will always have a hole and a place in my heart, I’d like to say it’s very tender right now but as time goes on it will heal and I’ll never forget her ;) Edit: She died today, I’m glad she’s not in so much pain and is happy.

I can relate to this so much. I lost my golden retriever too. He was alive before I was born so he was almost like a really cool older brother. He was like my best friend and one day I was about to go to bed when my sister walked into my room and told me, “John isn’t feeling well.” When we got outside to see him, my brother was crying so I knew it was serious. My brother NEVER cries. When I saw John, I broke out into tears and didn’t fully recover until about 2 months later. About a year later my parents surprised us with a new golden retriever named Dexter. Dexter is now one of my best friends. I will always remember John though. He let paw prints in my heart.💗💚💛💙💜❤️
My dog Tess came into my family when I was a year old or so. For the first 13 years of my life, she was there. I had very little freinds in school so I looked forward to coming home to her. While we were on vacation in Florida this past April, we got a call saying she might not make it through the night. We knew she was very sick, but we didn't know she wpuld die so soon. We scheduled an earlier flight to go home the next day but she died while we were away. That's when my depression started.

I can relate to this story when I was a baby I met my dog Nene he was the best boy ever he never tried to harm us or bite someone, I was with him for 11 good years he was a family dog and we loved him. The weeks we noticed him getting old he wouldn't be able to walk that well often collapse. The week he was dying we kept him in the living room with pads , he look bad and I just started crying. On Cristmas I got to spend more time with him but sadly, the next day we had to put him down it was one of the saddest things in my life. But now I realize that it was the best thing for him.💔

Sama Milhem my friend wen't hermit crab fishing and gave me some and so we got a cage (aquarium like so it had glass walls) and they all died all three :( I buried them in my ditch and in a few days I dug in my ditch and found my hermit crab's bones I hope that they are in a better place and have no more pain and sufferings like on planet earth.....
Leo reminds me of my first dog Daisy. Daisy was either a golden retriever or a yellow lab (my dad always called her a golden retriever but after she died he told me she was mix so idk what breed she was) but she was my first ever dog. We would play outside right after me and my brother got home from school (I was like 3-5 in this). We were practically unseperable. We would watch tv together, eat together (after I finished eating, she would clean my plate), and sleep together. While my dad was at work, I slept with my mom and Daisy would either sleep right next to the bed or with us in the bed. Sometimes I would sleep with my brother in his bunk-bed (I slept with him on the top bunk and Daisy slept on the bottom bunk. When we moved to a trailer-house, in my grandparents yard while our house was being built, we got some bunnies (we took Daisy with us) and my oldest one (aka the one that survived the longest) was named Fast-runner because Daisy thought the bunnies were her puppies and he would always run like Naruto away from her. (Literally SUPER fast!!) Daisy was the greatest dog I've ever had (I loved her so much that I used to call her sista' (I was five, ok)) Like Leo, she died at the vet and I almost didn't stop crying. I even cried watching the video because it reminded me of Daisy. When we moved to our new house, after Daisy died (Daisy died after we moved to the new house) we buried her by the pond, which is where we bury the pets when they die. I will never forget my dog who was like my sister. I love you girl. R.I.P Daisy.
The sad part is is that when he was explaining the death of Leo you could hear the hurt and pain in his voice like he was about to cry. :(

I remember seeing this 3 years ago and thinking about my (then) 14 yr old German Shepherd. Now, I am back here a day after she has passed. She lived such a happy life but it feels so wrong to look out the window and not see her wondering around or digging in the dirt. I miss her so much but it’ll be ok ❤️

Since then, I’ve helped some stray kitties around my neighbor and I even adopted two. I’m sure she’s happy in heaven right now and she’s probably chasing skunks :) so don’t be sad because she inspired me to help more innocent animals (we rescued her from a bad situation).

I feel you bro, I had a dog once who got killed aswell, here's the story: Me and my family were eating pizza and watching a movie, while my dog was inside my room, she barked loud and was scared that it was raining while looking out the window, she went a bit crazy, but before we knew we forgot to lock the pet door, and she got out and went to her cage, but.. She accidently locked herself inside the cage, there was high winds outside and it was a TORNADO warning the news had just said... We were worried about her outside we went to our basement and slept there the whole night, after I woke up her cage was OPEN, my neighbour's house was a bit annihilated, but a year later, we found out she died, me and my parents and brother and friends cried for her, especially me, she was like my BFF.. R.I.P Buttercup, my dog.. 😭😭😭😭😭
Edit: I made this in 2020, this happened around 2014-2015, she got out of her cage after the winds scared her and she ran away. We never knew what happened to Buttercup but me and my family and friends will ALWAYS remember her :) 🐶 she is with Leo now :D

I understand how this kid feels, a couple of years ago, I had a chocolate Labrador called Maurice. We did everything together. Unfortunately, when he was 8, he developed cancer in his toe, which spread to the rest of his body. We decided to put him down rather than have him die in pain. But, we all have to face death one day, and I still miss Maurice to this day ❤🐶

I basically had the same experience with my previous doggo, called Max. I had him for all of my life, until June of 2019 when he had to be put down due to complications of old age. I have my new doggo now called Benny, and I think that, if Max was still alive, he and Benny would be best friends.
It’s hard losing a family member that you care a lot about, specially a pet. It’s always so hard moving on from a pet’s death, but life goes on, and they’ll be in a better place.

I cried i bit in this video because this is a similar thing that heppend to me i had a golden retriever too called Whiffy. I loved him and he loved me. He was quite an old dog but he was very energetic! We took him as many places as we could so we were always with him. But one day he was starting getting ill, and as the days went on, it got worse. Me and my family were hoping for the best and wanted to spend much more time with him. Then one sad day i went to school like a normal day and when i got home, i was told the news. Whiffy had sadly had to be put to sleep because of his illness and i think it was the saddest day of my life. I will never forget him, he will always be in my heart. He also gave me a chance to get off my homework because i went into school and actually had to tell my teacher that my dog had eaten my homework. Once again, Whiffy will never be forgotten. R.I.P Whiffy

I can relate. I had a puppy when I was 3. We pretty much spent time together, too. I would always feed her, take her on morning walks, sleep with her, play with her. After around 7 years later, she went into surgery because something happened to her stomach so she went to surgery. It was a success but she was also really weak. A year later, she was already severely weak. She can barely eat, walk or play with me so I always have to carry her. My family didn't really have enough money to take her to the vet so there was nothing we could do. 3 days before her birthday, she died beside me while sleeping. It's already been a year now and I still miss her so much. I always keep a picture of me and my dog with me whenever I go somewhere. But I'm really happy that she could already rest in peace because she went through so much pain and I know she needs to rest now. I'm really thankful that I got to spend nearly 9 years with my dog :)

I can relate so much to this story, it’s not even funny. I had a dog like no other. His name was Boomer. He was a German Shepherd and he would protect me no matter what was going on. He was the best dog a man could ask for. He would always play catch with me, walk with me, and even rolled around in snow with me. He unfortunately by the age of 10 had many pains throughout his body. He would always limp, fall over, you name it. But he still never left my side. When he was 12, his time had just sadly come. I spent the whole night with him, and I’m glad I did, because the next day, he was put down. If he was still alive, I but you he wouldn’t leave my side. But dead or alive, he will never leave my heart.

I understand, as of now I have an 8 year old dog named Brooklyn, she was diagnosed with Lymphoma and it had spread to every organ of her body. We are currently saying our “goodbyes” even though I know I’ll see her again. We are going to let her pass on where she’s most comfortable (my house) She is a black lab and I’m glad she’s going to go to heaven and be free.
Brooklyn will always have a hole and a place in my heart, I’d like to say it’s very tender right now but as time goes on it will heal and I’ll never forget her ;)

He was like my best friend and one day I was about to go to bed when my sister walked into my room and told me, “John isn’t feeling well.” When we got outside to see him, my brother was crying so I knew it was serious. My brother NEVER cries. When I saw John, I broke out into tears and didn’t fully recover until about 2 months later. About a year later my parents surprised us with a new golden retriever named Dexter. Dexter is now one of my best friends. I will always remember John though. He let paw prints in my heart.💗💚💛💙💜❤️

My dog Tess came into my family when I was a year old or so. For the first 13 years of my life, she was there. I had very little freinds in school so I looked forward to coming home to her. While we were on vacation in Florida this past April, we got a call saying she might not make it through the night. We knew she was very sick, but we didn't know she wpuld die so soon. We scheduled an earlier flight to go home the next day but she died while we were away. That's when my depression started.

I lost one of my puppy's when he was at a young age my dog lady gave birth to him then sic weeks later he got sick and choked on a chunk of bread at 1:30 in the morning I was crying all day and two days later we buried him in our back yard I really miss him so does my family

I can relate to this story when I was a baby I met my dog Nene he was the best boy ever he never tried to harm us or bite someone, I was with him for 11 good years he was a family dog and we loved him. The weeks we noticed him getting old he wouldn't be able to walk that well often collapse. The week he was dying we kept him in the living room with pads , he look bad and I just started crying. On Cristmas I got to spend more time with him but sadly, the next day we had to put him down it was one of the saddest things in my life. But now I realize that it was the best thing for him.💔
My cat died the other day. Death is the most heartbreaking thing in this world, you just want them back as its not fair that they’re leaving you. My cat was only 1 and i feel so guilty as we contemplated so long if we wanted to let her outside and we did. We always thought she’d be safe around roads and never expected this, i still cannot stop crying as i loved her so much. Rest In Peace Minnow. 30.09.19

My first pet ever was fish I had all my fish died them we got pet birds my sister was feeding the birds then she left the door open so they flew away and it has been one year I still miss my pets 😭😭😭😭😭

Sama Milhem my friend wen't hermit crab fishing and gave me some and so we got a cage (aquarium like so it had glass walls) and they all died all three :( I buried them in my ditch and in a few days I dug in my ditch and found my hermit crab's bones I hope that they are in a better place and have no more pain and sufferings like on planet earth.....

Leo reminds me of my first dog Daisy. Daisy was either a golden retriever or a yellow lab (my dad always called her a golden retriever but after she died he told me she was mix so idk what breed she was) but she was my first ever dog. We would play outside right after me and my brother got home from school (I was like 3-5 in this). We were practically unseperable. We would watch tv together, eat together (after I finished eating, she would clean my plate), and sleep together. While my dad was at work, I slept with my mom and Daisy would either sleep right next to the bed or with us in the bed. Sometimes I would sleep with my brother in his bunk-bed (I slept with him on the top bunk and Daisy slept on the bottom bunk. When we moved to a trailer-house, in my grandparents yard while our house was being built, we got some bunnies (we took Daisy with us) and my oldest one (aka the one that survived the longest) was named Fast-runner because Daisy thought the bunnies were her puppies and he would always run like Naruto away from her. (Literally SUPER fast!!) Daisy was the greatest dog I've ever had (I loved her so much that I used to call her sista' (I was five, ok)) Like Leo, she died at the vet and I almost didn't stop crying. I even cried watching the video because it reminded me of Daisy. When we moved to our new house, after Daisy died (Daisy died after we moved to the new house) we buried her by the pond, which is where we bury the pets when they die. I will never forget my dog who was like my sister. I love you girl. R.I.P Daisy.
