I have this machine and I feel for beginners it’s appropriate but I completely agree with you on all the points. I’ve had a battery malfunction issue already where it just shuts off my machine completely and won’t recover without a brand new fully charged battery. Thankfully element tattoo sent me a replacement but it’s still a little annoying. Overall, not a bad machine.
How many hours were you in before it did that? I was 2 hours in and I would pause machine and when I would go to unpause it it would turn off. It was fine with a fresh battery. Idk if that's normal????
I did research on this machine, as well as the Peak Solice Pro. Looking for a first machine around this price, however it seems most machines 400 or less are not compatible with disposable grips. My questions is this.....after working around blood for 26 years in law enforcement, I do know there are liquid solutions that kill almost all bacteria and virus. That being said, would it not work to soak a non disposable grip in a commercial grade disinfectant between each use? If not, can you suggest a medium priced pen machine (roughly 400 or less) that you know can utilize a disposable grip. The few I have found sell disposables, however they are not sterile. Have you tried the ep8 at all? They brought out a 4.2 version think it was the ep8+ but they changed the grip to a shorter one…think the original grip would have been better
Both are great machines. It really comes down to need and workflow. If you need the flexibility of strokes (hard and soft hit) go with the EP10. If you have a softer machine (ie 3.5mm) and you are only looking to compliment this with a hard-hitting Liner, then do EP7+ This is just our opinion.
Hey, have you used 14RS with it? Would you recommend it for lining with that needle configuration for solid lines? Or what other pen would be better for that?
Great video, I had the EP10 for about 3 days and noticed the top part of mine was slightly coming out of the machine (the whole top part, including the display), which I thought was weird so I lightly pulled it and the whole thing came off, had to ruturn it. I really did enjoy the machine while I had it, just cannot say it's good given my experience.

I bought it, used 1 time, i have the wands aswell, and i just couldnt enjoy the feel of it in the hand, but i probably should try it alot more, but yeah it's kinda hard to change the stroke mid tattoo :D
I like to use big needles (7rl, 9rs, 11rs, 14rs, 5cmg, 11cmg and 15cmg mostly, would like to go bigger) and my current machine overheats after an hour or so. It's an Ez Filter pen v2+, I've had it for over a year now and it works great on small projects and/or needles but I'm looking for something more durable and powerful. I got recommended this machine but idk if it would suit me. My style is a mix of blackwork, dotwork, old school and illustrative so pretty dark and cartoony.
You need to do a review on the peak solice pro. A way better option, and now the price went down. This machine doesn’t look like anything special considering how fast they are making machines
Yea it turns white and nothing pops up. I got shit in my cart and go back to site to get more and any category you choose nothing comes up. It starts to then just a blank page

Same exact issue that I have as well. One of the 2 batteries dies prematurely at the same settings.

The solution is to buy an autoclave and run your grip through there after you are done the tattooing session. It is good to have one regardless

They are 2 totally different machines really. This is an all rounder machine and the wands are specialized for certain styles. Kind of hard to compare
