Comic art and cute illustrations in Leonardo do look much better than Midjourney...but Leonardo doesn't even come close to Midjourney for photo realism.
Honestly, if I want photorealism I can get my full frame anytime. And I don't wanna burst anyone's bubble, but the so called "Midjourney Style" will soon become motel art, since everyone is making the same type of images.

One thing I've noticed, Leonardo seems to interpret better on smaller images. When you use the same prompt but changing for bigger sizes, it messes the whole thing up. It's not always, but it happens. Two heads, lots of fingers. Even the negative prompt doesn't work.
You're right, I and several other artist I know are doing just that, selling AI Art on POD platforms; especially if you are mixing in your own artistic creations with the AI generated content, you can create some unique looking imagery, that can grab peoples attention.
Definitely subscribed. I've recently started using Leonardo to make designs for Tshirt. I just don't like having to rely on Etsy. They banned my store after having it for 2 days and I hadn't even posted 1 listing yet. It took 20 days for Etsy to make my store active again... That being said, I'm very interested in what you were talking about in this video. The part about making your own digital art website is really smart. Please make that into a series, id 100% watch every upload. Let's get this done! Ps.. what's the best way to get in contact with you?
Midjourney allows you to upload many images as image prompts, and then use text to emphasise what you actually want to see. you can also use weights for for the images and the text
Nice trick! I wish we could mix main platform models with our own trained "datasets", instead of uploading a bunch of images every time. It would be so much more convenient. You know, the way you can use different diffusers and Lora in Stable Diffusion. I'm in love with the new Leonardo Diffusion model, it brings together all the good things from SD and Midjourney. But the styling just doesn't look right for all my projects 😒
The only problem I have with leonardo, is the ai model just doesn't do full body cartoon style things well at all, especially when it comes to animals. Always extra limbs, bad hands/feet/paws etc. Even with a full set of negative prompts to try and avoid this, it is terrible. Midjourney is just so much easier to get a usable result within a few generations.
You said you were just learning so I don’t know if you’d know but you clearly know way the hell more than I do. I need to take a picture, take the people in that pic and put them somewhere else in a different format. A friend is having a very difficult time and thought a water colour of her and her daughter would be cool. Was hoping you might know how. All my attempts were complete trash.
You likely solved it by now, but in case not, there is a major update of around 2 weeks or so ago that solves this. Use character reference for the people and content/style reference for the background, or content reference for the people and style reference for the background.

I wish I knew about this software one year ago. Unfortunately, I have to play around to find the new locations of these features. Hopefully I come across something cool like you did In this video.
Can you make or recommend a video on how to improve wrong drawn hands? Leonardo really struggles with it, even when you add the well known negative prompts or edit it with the canvas.
Is there any trick when it comes creating designs that are not painted all the way to the edges (e.i. round shape), and zooming it out, instead of having parts of the design not fitting in the image size? I tried to put zoomed out in the prompt, but it made no difference. Tried negative prompt with it, no difference. If the design can not be zoomed out it is unusable. I am thinking about canceling subscribtion. What upscaler you use to get good image with at least 3500 x 3500 pxl? Because the leonardo one does not go that high.
You are right friend, Leonardo is better than Midjourney, but weirdly MidJourney is much easier to use. I want to use Leonardo to create my book, but it's pain in the ass to master, most say it's very easy. I fricking suck at it
You could say it is better with the tools available to fine tune the work, but at the same time, midjourney content is good enough from the start to not need those tools. If midjourney can provide the same or similar features, then it will beat out leonardo in the end.
Yeah for this reason i stuck with midjourney. It's just easier. It gets me results that are easily cleaned up in an image editor door use in commercial products. Leonardo always generated terrible stuff, even with negative prompts

media copyright is about to be an outdated way of thinking. There is going to be so much of an influx of media content that is generated through a.i., that it will be unrealistic for anyone to protect anything digital anymore. Instead of worrying about someone taking your work, it will be all about who can grab peoples attention the best using whatever they choose to display. There will of course be an initial push-back, but when governments realize it is not worth the hassle to them to try and keep up with all of this media content, they will stop putting effort in to protecting it.
