That´s a very important step missing in all videos, and maybe you could cover it, for example: for wall prints in different sizes and how to make them appear in Etsy correctly with their specific prices, also for sticker packs in one Etsy listing (how do you do this if you create every sticker as a single product in Printify?). I would offer them without the outline and in a few formats like png, svg, eps. There is no correct size but I think 2000x2000 pixels should be more than big enough for all sticker sizes

This may be a dumb question, but why put sticker in the Midjourney prompt if you're going to just delete the outline anyway? Will it make a difference in the outcome of the image in Midjourney?

Hey Philip, great information video. I read somewhere about stickers needing to be 300 dpi. Question is, if we follow your process, will the end result be 300dpi?
Depends on the size of the stickers but mostly stickers are printed so small that getting to 300dpi is easy. If you upscale 4X for example you should be way above 300 the majority of the time ;)
Appreciate your fast reply! One more question. Since everyone can see your images, won’t they just copy and use it for their own print on demand? I mean even if you’re a paid user, I doubt it’s possible you can possibly start legal action towards these people right?
@@keithlim7315 there is billions of images out there on Midjourney I doubt anyone will steal yours specifically. They aren't copyrighted to you so technically you couldn't take legal action anyway. And in reality copycats are a big part of selling anything online. It's impossible to prevent if you see some success ;)
So my problem is I made the images and then I went with a print provider and I don't know if it's the way I uploaded it and the sizing or if it's the print provider with the image clarity did not come out as crisp or HD as my journey produced and I have no idea what the issue is.

I feel the same way about this. It's one thing to experiment with AI art or use it as a way to enhance your own art, but using it to make money from the results when you put no real effort into the creation lacks integrity. All you supporters of this can come at me and say I'm negative or a hater. The reality is many of you are the type that want solutions in a magic pill instead of putting real effort at becoming good at something. Good luck if your computer breaks or the energy grid goes down. You'd be out of luck while us real artists can still use traditional media like pencil, pen, and paper.

If you want to be good at art, learn and practice. Using AI to do it for you is a cop out. whenever i try to click the background with the magic one, the outline wants to go around the drop shadow at the bottom of the sticker. How can i avoid the shadow being outlined?

How to market the sticker designs? You can upload them to marketplaces like Redbubble, Etsy or Amazon which do the marketing for you. You can open your own online store and try to drive traffic to it. However that would most likely be a lot more time consuming and quite difficult to be profitable

The beta upscale is a valid option. I don't use it because from my experience it sometimes recreates the image in a different, undesirable way. And the resolution is still not high enough for printing.

Now I just need to get a mock up for it and figure out a POD service that be best. Do you have any suggestions on which POD place I should go to and the recommended product to use for sticker?
MyDesigns has great pricing for stickers and good mockups. Printify is also a good alternative but would take longer ato upload multiple desings. I have an Etsy + Mydesigns Tutorial on the channel which might help get an idea ;)
I do whole sticker sheets for my prompt instead of one sticker; I just add "sticker sheet" to any prompt.

How do you get your own midjourney channel? Have to create your own "server" on discord?
If you have a subscription you'll get a private chat with the MJ bot. Creating a server is optional

Wondering how to do this without erasing the white border you created around the owl. It was lost when you removed the background.
you could try lowering the tolerance on the magic wand tool. Or you can add a stroke to the graphic afterwards to add the white border effect

Yes you can get similar results. But from my experience Midjourney is most advanced in terms of it's style and accuracy atm
