    A checklist on how to be a “superstar”:
    1: have tons of money
    2: have personal trainers
    3: own 20 gloves and bats
    If you have these 3 things, whistle will consider you a superstar

    • @HJBuckets
      @HJBuckets 5 ปีที่แล้ว +45

      So true, you don't have to have a trainer or whatever, to make it to the MLB, it's called practice hard and right by yourself or your parents. Simple!

      Yeah, I’m 15 and I lift everyday for for baseball, I want to make it at the next level, if I’m not practicing my game, I’m learning something that I could apply to it. I’m just like this kid minus the rich family and all the accessories. I literally work hard everyday except Sunday because that’s the Lords day.

      Luke I knew kids like this, studs. But that was in a 13u age group. Home runs mean nothing on a 200ft field with juiced bats. Once this kid moves to 60-90 field and using bbcor, those 250ft bombs will be 200ft fly outs. I’m not saying he’s bad, I’m saying it’s unrealistic. Plus, any kid could be considered a “superstar” if they are getting private training and getting the juiced usssa bats (meaning they’re rich). I’m just spitting facts, not bashing the kid. If he keeps it up he’ll still be good, but not mlb.

    There’s tons of kids like this. I played on nationally ranked teams. I believe there were several of us that would be in the MLB one day. Not a single one of us went. My best friend broke the home run record at his college but he only made it to triple A.
    I’ve seen amazing players go very far but still not get to the majors league. This kid is certainly a great ball player. Just know that there are tons out there like him. I’m not sure what exactly makes the difference. For some it’s injuries. We had a pitcher throwing mid 90’s in high school. He was on the way but his shoulder went and that was the end of it. It’s tough to get there believe me. Many who didn’t get there were still unbelievably good players.

    Props to his fam for helping to get him on the radar. I see all the time the instagram influencers like Prospect Pipeline etc and they charge a fee for you to have them feature your player. There are so many great ballplayers out there, but social media/marketing and getting yourself more looks takes a lot of work. For every kid that goes D1, there are two more who could have, but didn't have money for travel teams to enter scouted tournaments or showcase events to get ranked, etc. You can't hate on them for having the money to do it, if the kid wants it and they can afford it, great. It's just a smart investment in his future...even a D3 scholarship makes it worth it. But it'd be nice if there were more avenues of people helping get names out of kids that weren't always at the showcases...

    For y’all saying this kid doesn’t deserve this title and attention your wrong. He might get a lot of help and a lot of product but at the end of the day he puts in the time and work. At the end of the day regardless of how good you are work ethic is all that matters

    Excuse me Paul Blart but how many kids have you trained? I have met a lot of kids that are driven and focused. If the kid is great, awesome! I have known a few stories of outstanding kids pooping their pants in college. It gets competitive and you better have some good stuff between your ears or you are gonna be disappointed.

      The trainer is trying to grow his lower side because of genetics . This kid is not built for mature power . He will lose the baby fat during puberty and be tall and thin. See it all the time in younger travel ball where bigger younger kid gets away with upper body strength then gets passed up when the rest mature

    • @barbecuesquirrel2324
      @barbecuesquirrel2324 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope he snaps the growth plate. Then how will all the training pay off.

      Kenny Desormeaux Yeah but he’s 13 tho, shouldn’t he already hit puberty, I started puberty the summer before I entered middle school, which for me was 6th grade (i know for some people it’s 5th so just clarifying)

    • @aprilmotiondirectHawk
