The default Sag setting on the Recto model represents the rectification with silicone diodes. The rectifier tubes have an higher internal resistance than diodes, resulting in a bigger volt drop (=„sag“) of the internal HV supply at high master volume settings when much current is demanded. This results in a bigger shift of the nominal operating point of the (power) tubes. Depending on the capacitor network design of the amplifier the voltage drops (sag) is more significant or not.
Leon this is great info, requesting if you could share some info on cabinets Air parameters how it affects the sound and how it can be used, I did try tweaking Air but still not sure how it correlates in real world scenarios.
I want to know more about the tonestack section in the preamp. what it does you can select different preamp manufactures does it change the order of things orr the type? makes a DRASTIC tone change. New Fractal user got mine last saturday :)

Air just blends the input signal in. Useful for cleans but i don't ever use it on dirt.

Changes the type. You can change the order with the tonestack location parameter :)
