I enjoyed your video and explanation. I’m struggling taking a picture of a covered pressed glass candy dish and a creamer. This will help me a lot. I was not doing it right at all. Lol

thanks for the video im selling wine glasses and decanters on ebay with a white star line flag etched, im working with no photography background, I understand using black will reflect an outline to the glass, is it just as effective having the black on either side of the glass on the base. Ive been trying to photo with the black to the side, and help appreciated thanks Rose x

You just need to experiment and practice unfortunately there is no easy way.
