This drummer is a key ! Most of avenged sevenfold song lyrics has written by him ! He's a masterpiece song writer

Jimmy, my favorite drummer of all time, did not write most of A7x's stuff. He didn't write any lyrics before and only started writing for CoE where he co wrote some songs, contributed most of his writing on ST and a few songs on Nightmare. He did however influence greatly, the weirdness and the crazy wackiness of their most beloved songs. But in the end, the few songs that he wrote by himself, and all the ones he contributed to can be argued being A7x's best lyrical work.

That’s not true at all, Rev only wrote lyrics for a couple songs, he didn’t even do anything other than drum until self titled album and as well all know he passed away soon after that. Outside of fiction on nightmare the only other song he even wrote lyrics for were on the self titled album, Matt has written the large large majority of their lyrics outside of a couple songs

Like somebody else said, the drummer died about a year after this concert, but they wrote him a touching tribute song for him called "So Far Away". At some point you need to listen to this song. It will bring a tear to your eye for sure.

Brian wrote so far away for his grandfather. The Rev helped him a bit. Brian then dedicated the song to Jimmy

I’ve always loved Zacky’s backing vocals in this one so much. This is probably in my top 3 songs of theirs in general.
Zacky is lowkey such a good singer, love his voice. I especially love his backing vocals in almost easy and his vocals in runaway
As stated by a few others. The drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan wrote afterlife. He helped write a lot of their stuff but they all actually contribute a lot to the lyrics. These guys were all best friends as far back as middle school. The drummer unfortunately passed away not long after this concert. The band wrote a tribute song called “So Far Away”. We’d love to see you react to to that music video. A very touching a well done tribute.
The drummer was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and was told by doctors he’d be lucky to make it passed 30 years old. Well…he was approaching his 30’s and his condition was worsening…he could tell the end was near. He died of a drug overdose but it is widely suspected that he overdosed on purpose to escape the pain of his condition and also leave this earth on his own terms. Super sad all around. These weren’t just his band mates…they were all literal best friends since childhood.

Actually this song was solely written by the rev he was getting hate for not writing and came in with this masterpiece shortly after. Watch videos of them it’s all documented

That's half true. Yes, he is indeed giving it his all because he loved doing what he did for a living.... but the other half is that he drank like a fish and is profusely sweating out his earlier alcohol consumption! 😉😁

One of the last true immortals on the drums. He was already so far ahead of the game at that point in his career at such a young age that it's damn near incomprehensible what he would've grown into had he lived and continued expanding upon his craft

The drummer wrote this song, among many others, he sadly passed a year after this concert. The Rev was a hell of a drummer and songwriter.

The drummer at this time did most of the song writing at that time. Since he passed away, the rhythm guitarist in the white shirt writes many of their lyrics and the lead guitarist writes most of the music
From this concert i would suggest the live version of "Scream". From the albums i would give a try to "Buried Alive" or "So Far Away" - the song that was written to Jimmy (their drummer in this whole concert) when he passed away. Just subscribed your channel ;) doing a great job =)

The white shirt guitarist Zacky was always there, he’s one of the original founding members along with the singer and the drummer who sadly passed away in 2009 not too long after this show

i'll just recommend all of their music, its all good stuff and watching their making of their self titled album to get a perspective on what their creative process was when creating the album. recommend checking out the drummers past stuff the group is called Pinkly Smooth RIP Rev, on another note, an artist you should check out is HYDE, recommend a live version of SET IN STONE he is a japanese artist has a many interesting songs, such as, DEFEAT, PANDORA, OUT, LION, WHO'S GONNA SAVE US.

From this concert I would recommend: almost easy, bat country, seize the day, gunslinger, and a little piece of heaven. The rest are good also but just to name a few.

You should react to all the songs from that concert, they are the best and M. Shadows did not have all the issues he has now with his vocal cords, so if you see some recent concerts he might not scream too much.
They have not played for 7 years I think now and there are a lot of concerts in June and August I think but I do not have a VISA.
And lets not forget the Drummer R.I.P. Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan.

Lyrics are a group effort, at least on this record it was. Especially back when The Rev (the dummer) was alive, he wrote a bunch of their songs.

I think the other standout from this concert is “a little piece of heaven” great song. I would NOT recommend the music video just yet because it’s pretty fucked up and you gotta ease into that 😂 “seize the day” and “almost easy” are two other great ones. Honestly though every song in this concert was completely on point.
