I reveal my new daily driver, a brand new Abarth 695 BiPosto Record Edition. With a view to replacing my old Jaguar F-Type in the coming months, I wanted a fun little car I could use as a daily driver.
The 695 is a track focussed pocket rocket with no air con, no radio and a roll cage, but I couldn't resist it!

Psun it's not about cost... anyway for a daily workout how much insurance, tax & fuel for a year would be & then compare that to what's been mentioned here a mustang... the fiat will win hands down, its also easier to park, clean drive rnd pretty much any road etc

Have any of you ever driven an actual Abarth? Not the 135bhp hairdresser excuse, but at least the 160bhp garret turbo'd version with 5-speed manual and proper tires.
It's one of the most fun cars you can buy today - period.

Abarth as a brand is also nice. I'm planning on getting a Stilo Abarth with the 5-cylinder or the Grande Punto Abarth SS one day, if I can find one at a decent price.

I'm so glad you got this car! I've wanted to see more videos on them for a while. Buying my own Abarth was one of the best purchases I have made and it's been tons of fun!

Basically a 500 with 190bhp that costs around £36,000... which is insane!!! Basically it is more than an Audi S3 or a Golf R or a Focus RS etc
I'm pretty disappointed about the interior. Seats are cool, the steering wheel is ok, but the buttons and the knobs are not so good looking... at all.
You don't buy these cars if you're looking for a sane buy. This 500 and a 4c are cars you only buy because you love them, not because of price/performance.
paulusgaming I agree, but for that price I'd expect something more "special" like a bit more of alcantara here and there and stuff like that. Besides if I were him, I'd save more money for the new sport/super car, but most important I'd choose a daily car with things like a good infotainment, audio system and stuff like that.
Steve Min eh, i know some people who still daily one of the old 500's and do fine. an infotainment system is not nesscesary, a radio might have been a good idea though.

Great to see you completely get these cars. It takes actually driving one to fully understand the concept of just how much fun they are. I don't have a 695 but a 595 Competizione with 200 bhp... It's an absolute blast and anyone who slagged it before (dad, brother in law) since driving it now love the thing. Howled with every backfire of the monza and couldn't believe how quick it felt.
Congrats . Nice choice Sam. Hope you have many miles of enjoyment with it. Can't wait to see it on the track.

Love it. I drive a 500 Abarth daily. No such option of 695/595 in the USA but I've spent thousands upgrading my Abarth. I'm 42 years old and it's the most fun I've ever had in a car every day.

I really like it; Looks fucking great, sounds great, suprisingly fast and so much fun. They actually have a special presence, when you hear one rumbling around you can clearly tell that its no ordinairy car. The only dislikes i have is that having an AC on those 3 hot days in the UK would be nice. And a radio for the long drives is pretty much a must have for me.

Unexpected...... But I love it ! I first saw a Abarth at a track day at NOLA Speedway and immediately fell in love with it. The noise, the looks, the RIDICULOUSNESS!! I 100% approve of this decision and can't wait to see what you have planned for it.

Really excited about your future videos on this. I replaced my M135i for an Abarth 595 Competizione but had to let it go as the lack of reach adjustment on the steering wheel and the high seating position gradually wore my down. If Fiat/Abarth addressed these issues, I'd have another in a heartbeat. So much fun!

the same thing happened to me, I went into an Abarth dealership to just test drive one, and ended up buying on two weeks later, so many smiles per gallon, love it
Congrats Sam, your ears will be extremely happy for tons of miles and smiles.
You'll have to invest in GoPro Hero 5s with image stabilisation, because those things ride firm...video shake...but also a good reason to upgrade your GoPro...
And a Walkman Mp3 player...because the lack of a stereo will wear off, trust me...
