Chase of NN7M/VE7 with a Ten-Tec 1340

Chasing Ryan NN7M with the Ten-Tec 1340 (40 meters and about 3 watts). Ryan was on Burnaby Hill near Vancouver BC.

I built one of these around 15 years ago and it still works beautifully. My first QSO was from my backyard in southern ca. with a guy in Arizona!

It’s a nice rig for how simple and inexpensive the kits were. Did you do any mods to yours?

@@lovethevdub I added an LED so it was easy to see when the radio was powered on. I may have done something else but I just do not remember.
