Looking for inspiration in the PNW forests

Lately I have been reading a lot of poetry, including select poems gathered in Mary Oliver's book, Devotions. In her poetry Mary is often writing about the woods, and her observations during her time spent walking amongst the trees. I've had a bit of writer's block lately as I prepare my portfolio for some MFA applications in Creative Writing (terrible timing!). So this little trip on a trail was my way of gathering acorns of inspiration to write about back home!
