Hmm, so there are "Clan Masters" in addition to Clan Leaders... I like that they finally partially explain how someone seemingly unconnected to the Soryu tribe was able to get an Aqua Force card before the clan had been rescued. It's not explained how Thavas wasn't sealed, but at least there's an actual connection between Jaime and the Soryu tribe.
Poor Shion, Charlene is going to wreck him. Jaime is still being his Spanish self; I'm surprised he wasn't shown hitting on Jillian and Charlene.

@3:26 Easily best part of the episode. Well, between that and the unspoken words between Gouki and Nagisa, after she lost against Chrono. I really liked that moment.

OK I'm 16:46 in and I wanna make a prediction before the fight declaring that Leon is about to bust Chrono's ass. Aqua Force ain't nothing to fuck with.
I know they're the main characters and all, but I honestly hope they don't win. What made the first series so good was that the main characters did lose a lot, even by season 3 we saw them losing from time to time. This showed characters we could relate to.
+Geoff Roach I don't think they will win against a professional team especially when Leon and the others are part of it. The director should just let them lose and maybe they will realise their limits and go through some hell training to become stronger and probably...take revenge against them?

Yeah its totally over :/ hm well the Problem is they'd need to win more than once so they get lots of points and I really don't see jaime losing to tokoha...but maybe chrono and shion win and tokoha will be the only one to lose..i guess we'll have to see what the writers planned

Damn it! I was so hyped for the Team Handsome vs Try3 fight and we didn't get to see it!
Leon, Jillian, and Sharlene are back YAY, and Gouki one of my faves. Im guessing Kai is Kagero Clan Master, Naoki is Narukami, Misaki Genesis or Oracle Think tank, and Ren is Shadow Paladin.
Not Misaki as she owns card capital both one and two and I don't think she would have time too. I could be wrong but it seems like she wouldn't devote her life to the game unlike the rest.

Two generations interacting, and appearances of old cast, what a surprisingly great feeling. Although, I think I could see Chrono lose, do the other quests, find his future goal with the others and then Leon would allow a re-challenge for the points where he puts it all on the line but then again, maybe not.

Apparently I forgot how strong Leon is. I am liking this season a bit more than G (G's first 18 episodes were a bit boring to be honest)

think about it they have to establish the character first so like the first couple episode are introducing characters, mechanic of the game, and tone.
We don't really care about that crap. About three episodes would be enough to introduce everything. They just couldn't think up a story so they made the introductions longer.

GOUKI IS BACK THIS IS AWESOME. Can you do the sub's not in a black box, it kind of messes with the images. Shame Leon will lose, as if Chrono loses he won't be able to continue the G Quest. I loved how Shion got wrecked, that's what happens you push your opponent to four damage early game.

I Do like that The old cast is Returning. Although seeing Kai can only mean MORE DRAGONIC OVERLORD SUPPORT!!!!!! I Don't have an Issue with Dragonic Overlord, but it Already has 7 forms (Regular, Break Ride, The End, The Re-Birth, The X, The Great and the Ace). I mean, Blaster Blade is Essentially Vanguard's equivalent to Dark Magician (We need a New Blaster Blade Card). Heck, We Still Don't Even Know Chrono Dran's Skill (Aside from the Forerunner Ability that most Starting Vanguards Have). We Know it is connected to Chronojet Dragon Somehow, but I just Hope they Don't make it a Generic Grade 3 searcher, otherwise it'll just Seem Lazy, But We Also Don't want it Sharing Bacgal's Fate

For one,why does it seem like everyone has psyqualia now.Also that thumbs up that Nagisa did with her brother was really nice,it shows that unlike as a kid where she bossed him around,she feels like she failed him when she lost that battle,however Gouki is still ok with it.
No one made any comments about Kamui and Ibuki conversation after credits scene.

Jaime is really quite the charmer when it comes to Tokoha. It's somewhat cute in a more innocent type of way. Tokoha has already friend-zoned Shion & Chrono. Mamoru was really quite funny with bags under his eyes. I felt really sorry for him for having a lack of sleep. He's still an awesome older brother for Tokoha.

Phipine May Yi, I really like Vanguard G because Chrono is adorable protagonist. I like Jaime because he's so charming and handsome as well. Besides, Buddyfight and Vanguard G are both really entertaining. I only sometimes comment on Vanguard G. I still watch it though. This is what makes Bushiroad look unique. Their choice in character development are different each time. Bushiroad has a way of making fans look forward for more episodes and seasons. Bushiroad are just darlings to their fan base. I love and appreciate their dedication to their anime projects.

Leon will thoroughly trash Chrono, but Tokoha and Shion will both barely squeak by in their fights. This is the only way I can see them avoiding "Season 2" syndrome of the characters always losing while avoiding Chrono looking overpowered against Leon.
Also, Tsundere Tokoha is Best Tokoha.

I don't know anything yet but I think that the dragon empire branch will be the last of the G-Quest. So, sorry for saying this, I kind of hope that if Kai does battle Chrono I hope he wins cause if they show a new Dragonic Overlord unit and he loses I will be sad. That is my opinion.
