That's great! Yea I've done the same thing a few times, with a few different WPL trucks. They all have "characteristics" lol. I really do enjoy them though, it's just having to stay within their limits that I'm not great at sometimes. Glad you're bringing it back out, the c24 is one of my favorites 👍🏻💪🏻
@Gumbo Co. RC it's one of my first few crawlers. Neglected it and focused on the 1/10 scale. But I'm definitely bring it out again after watching a few of your videos. Awesome and thanks for igniting the light back 😀
Hey thanks a lot! It's still a well used truck for sure, just had it (and some others) out yesterday. Thanks again, I really appreciate the support! 👍🏻💪🏻
Hey there! It's using a generic single speed from Aliexpress with the included 370 motor. I'm sorry I don't know the rpm. When the motor gives out ill replace it with the Redcat 370 motor, it offers some impressive speed gains, but shouldn't detract from the torque. Thanks for asking👍🏻🙂

Hey there, so yes that's exactly what's going on there. No springs at all, it keeps cg low and creates more contact patch while crawling, keeping more tires to the ground and more rubber to the surface. When you move over a low spot, the wheels just drop down and keep traction while it's opposite side is free to move up and down and also maintain traction. It's kind of a droop suspension but without sealed oil shocks.👍👍
Nice one. I have a wpl c24.. been putting it on the shelf for quite some time now Saw your video, felt motivated to bring her out and mod. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

@@GC-RC thank you
No problem🤘🏻
Did u remove the springs from the wpl shocks??? How do u get it to just *plop* like that and stay low

I'll add that the way the shocks are angled allows them to compress all the way, and helps pull the truck down slightly.
