Launch Day for Street Fighter 6 means our first Combo guide has got to be the poster boy, Luke. (does he have a last name?) ANYWAY he may look as vanilla as they come BUT he's pack a punch! A LOT of his BNB's lead to relliable pressure in the corner and safe jump! Bully your out of any situation with this Guide and pave your way to the Million Dollars. Input Notation:
(Assuming Player 1 Side)
ST= while standing
CR = while crouching
LP MP HP = light medium heavy punch
LK MK HK = light medium heavy kick
QCF = Quarter-Circle Forward = ⬇↘➡
QCB = Quarter-Circle Back = ⬇↙⬅
DP = Dragon Punch Motion = ➡⬇↘
[X] = Hold until attack activates
CH = Counter Hit
PC = Punish Counter
DR = Dragon Rush
(X2) = Motion Repeated Twice
~ = Not a link or a special cancel just press the next button
* = Perfect Flash Knuckle Timing
Terms Used:
Meaty: an attack that hits an opponent on the very first frame possible after they rise from a knockdown
Safejump: A very well-timed jump attack on a character who is rising from a knockdown. Your goal is to attack extremely close to when you land so that, if the character performs an invincible reversal attack, you will land and be able to block.
Hit confirm: Performing an attack, seeing that your attack successfully hit, and then reacting to this information by continuing the combo.

CH Cr.mp combo - 2420 dmg

Note: this one is a bit tricky at fris, the trick is to DP as soon as possible, trust me it’ll reach
Cr.light confirm combo - 1670 dmg

Midscreen CH. cr.lp Combo - 2658 dmg

TBH my main is luke and unlike other characrs even tho he has a massive combo potential people rarely make videos about his combos. So idk. Still i would be glad to watch if you do anymore luke videos

the mid screen ch combo doesn’t work for me, i cant chain the crouch light punch with medium crouch punch no matter how hard i press or try the timing just doesn’t seem to exist
Turn on the "Action Timing Display" under "Screen Display Settings". The timing of the MP (and the HP afterwards) has to be delayed by an awkward amount. I couldn't get it consistently without watching the bar a few times first.

How do you jump cancel from perfect qcb lp? I can’t seem to get the timing to hit j mp
Holding up+forward and tapping MP helps me get it pretty consistently
How do you do instant DRs? I feel always too slow to do those instant one-meter DRs. I only know of doing it via Parry then ➡➡
you press parry on your second dash input, and if you are in a combo, you can DR without using parry at all
Instead of (parry ➡️➡️) yo wanna do more of (➡️ parry+➡️)
There's some tricks depending on the combo, which one is giving you the most trouble?
@@KairosFGC DR-ing after an inperfect LP Flash Knuckle to do the follow or when doing a perfect MP Flash Knuckle into that Instant DR. Those moments.
How do you feel about lukes low kicks, as a comboless footsie destroyer, its absolutely insane low light kick is -1 meaning youll get punished for a simple light attack. Also he cant even get 3 low kicks in a row.
I like lukes kit but. The odds are stacked against him

@@julianmann8738 yes, when you hit them with low light kick you are given -1 advantage and -5 if blocked, so not only is Luke short and can only hit 2 light kicks, but he also has the worse footsie dats in the gamw
@@julianmann8738 your -1 they are +1 which technically means they are plus 2 and their kick being longer and having more advantage

The damage when i do your combo is not match in the video. Is it have update?(sorry if my eng bad)
U do 20% less damage on modern controls I'm pretty sure

It stands for delay. Press the button later than you think you would. Use my inputs on screen as reference. 👍

There were all done in the actual release on lauch.
how did you get your dummy to wake up grab and then wake up DXDP?
While a recording is active reversal setting will not trigger. Timed the grab in coordination with the planned action on my part. Afterwards the recording expired and the reversal setting came out on the next knockdown. 👍🏾

Is this BETA? Wall splat super combo isn't working for me
This is from the full game. Those are wall splats meaning Drive impacting is hitting. If they block the impact and get hit into wall thats a wall crush. Make sure they are not blocking and you should be starting off fine. 👍🏾👍🏾
I’m having similar issue with the jump medium part it’s not connecting it whiffs

@@Smur95 The problem is that it's just hard timing. If you are slightly off with your forward jump, the medium will whiff.
it's not a punish counter DI, not sure if you had that on?
0:44 its medium dp not heavy.
heavy dp also works but its 2830 mediump dp is 2750
