Au contraire, Doctor. Many of us Americans do not see our dancing as crazy...on the contrary, we enjoy it. I suppose there are a few tight people who freak out at any expression but basically in my experience we do have these gatherings albeit too few and far between, more formalized, when I grew up in the 1950s. We have had a dance tradition in various ways and communities for all of our history. The most fun and obvious was the outbreak of motion and dance in so many forms with the awesome music movement of the 1960's. Those of us participating were predominantly people who had been traumatized in their youth. We are still enjoying the music scenes. But let me say I appreciate your spearheading and deeply sensitive work to free us children from the traumas of our families so we can bring improvement.
