Wow, thank you for sharing your story, such an impact.
After the Lord broke my depression I still had trouble going out even to church. It was in church that the Lord broke it all off of me!! Then it became a choice of convenience, so I got on a "serve" team, so I had the accountability to come to do a task. One time I was considering going to church late for the teaching and not the worship and so clearly the Holy Spirit asked, "You don't want to worship me?" Since then I've not had that consideration! :)

Jess, God has been leading me to you in such an undeniable way. So much so that I was in utter shock to hear you say that you saw the flaws in people and at one time you let it determine your future! I almost broke down in tears! I have experienced what you went through inside, struggling with others flaws and being closed off and guarded because I didn't want to get hurt. I could not believe that I was able to relate to SOOOO many things you talked about! Which was a blessing because I rarely heard things i could relate to often!! I am also in a better place now. I am a new minister as of January 1st. 2024. It is a huge honor and I'm so excited! One of the things I want to do is to stay candid and authentic! I don't want to just look the part! That has been very important to me and to my shock and awe God led me to Jesus.image and I felt so at home! Many powerful things have happened! This is soo good! Thank you so much for sharing your struggles and your victories with JESUS! I love this transparency in you. My struggles are not the same like yours but we all have struggles and tough spots as a believer and as a person so its easy to correlate while listening to your story although I have listened it before but it's still refreshing to hear it again because in the end it's all about loving Jesus and trusting HIM in ups and downs of life!

So good! Thanks Jess! The Lord started speaking to me almost daily in dreams, visions, and directly over the last 6 years. But the last two years, it has been rarely that I can notice. Last year I was dealing with stress from dealing with changes in behavior of my two daughters as a single father. I started having heart and lung issues and almost drowned while surfing, though I always trusted in God and held on to hope. On my way back from a mission trip, I was asking the Lord why was I having symptoms if I have completely trust in Him. He showed me a vision of Jesus when he was sweating blood before he was put on the cross. Wow, it shifted me in the way I think of, we can be strong in spirit, but the flesh is weak. Long story short, a week ago, while i was taking a couple days for rest, I had a dream of you. So I looked you up and saw this podcast. Wow, God is so good. Thanks for sharing and showing me that those who are also soo gifted still will have seasons of challenge. Its rare that a leader will share their current difficulty while in a blessed ministry.

Thank you so much for your vulnerable talking. That is a lack in the society to be honest about the hard things in life. Thank you for highlighting that life is best with trusting Jesus. Many christians are showing perfectionism. That i why people don’t see Jesus.
