Great video. My first bike was a late 60s Honda 90. It had a 6 volt system. LED lights were a few decades away. Night riding was fun and the lights did the job. This video reminded of the wide open spaces we had.. Lots of agriculture and country roads. Great memories…Thank you..😊

Just got my first Harley Davidson heritage 2001 and I'm looking forward to change somethings like the lights,wheels and other bits to bring it upto date.

I put LED lights on mine also. Not Advanblack but all the same. What a difference! So much safer with the white light versus the yellowish look of the old. Awesome Christmas gift to yourself.

Changed my OEM Electra glide light (awful) For a Chinese one from eBay. £17. It’s brilliant. As good as the Harley day maker. Tel Brian to got for a cheap one. He won’t regret it. You don’t need to spend big bucks. Also have the headlight alignment checked as mine was way out due to never having being fitted. Used the adjustment screws. Made a big difference 👍🏻
i did buy the cheap ones for rhe road king first thing i installed. But you can defitenly see yhe difference, fine when you have the passing lamps on but on high beam its useless. will definitely be going for the trio from.advanblack.b

The new light looks really good, it always amazes me that manufacturers fit crap headlights on their bikes but the thing that really amazes me is that some of them sell a comfort seat as an extra.
So they know that their stock seat is a medieval torture device but say if you want to be comfortable it is extra.😡

Just look at your new headlight as an upgrade. I bet now you've got it. How could I have rode without it for so long it do make life easier for sure you can see further not just 1 foot in front of you but all the way up the road so yes well worth it, let there be love let there be light 🎶 😊

Hope your Halo is legal. I know of another vlogger who had to swap out such lights due to a failed inspection regarding the upgraded light

You finally see the light, it's important to have some good light on the bike, I have installed also extra lights on my bike and people do see you better but in the dark you see more.
that was the thinking with the disco lights, they didnt last long though Haha.
eye really hav been considering a new led headlite for me old ironhead for 2 reasons. #1 b able to c better @ nite. #2 led is way easier on charging system. much luv u 2! u always put a smile on me face.

Here was the last Bagger Race.. They allow the Harley Davidsons 131 Cubic Inches and they allow the Indian 108 Cubic Inches.

I put LED's on my bagger cause its my foul weather bike, and one of my spot lights had blown. So I replaced all 3. I guess as the other bikes need new lights I'll up grade.
Makes such a big difference, well worth the money. We tried changing the bulb to a brighter one but it made no real difference

How have you managed to have a black and silver number plate, I ask because I have a softail on a 12 plate and my bike is black over silver so the plate would finish it off perfectly. My understanding is the bike has to 1980 or older to have a black and silver plate. Please let me know how you got around this. Thanks. Alan.

Here I dont like riding at night our hazards are,moose,bear,elk,deer,mountain sheep,mountain goats,antelope, only had a few cougars no pun intended in my headlights.

@@BunnyKingHogs just idaho usual riding hazards not as bad as bc canada where the moose and the bears are bigger.lol I have driven from Vancouver Canada to Fairbanks Alaska several times but never ridden it on a bike that is my bucket list ride.Work related and always in a hurry never had the time to enjoy it!

New LED main light and extra lights, no other safe way to ride at night. Most stock motorcycle headlights are terrible.

I was following a Mini Cooper after Top Gun viewing in Cannes last week, they totally went nuts on me... no idea why.. it was dark , so either the way my headlight jumps around was driving them wack, they are wack or drunk...thinking they must be wack.... there is some useless info for you :-). Top Gun I wanted to walk out, 2022 and Tom Cruise is riding 2 up with NO HELMETS! What a wanker.

Two fantastic roads to practise on in Scotland (nice wee trip out before your holidays ) is the Dukes pass and the run over to Applecross.
The Dukes pass has 3 or 4 nice hairpins on a steep climb from Aberfoyle and is one of my favourite rides . Thanks again for being such an entertaining couple . JC
