The only way to compare this game to tarkov is by comparing tarkov at It's early access point and comparing gray zone to its early access point... And what a difference it is... It's actually playable witch was not the case for Torkov. It's comparing a fresh new game in early access to a game.That's been in development for over seven years And for me this game in early access is already competing with the game that has been in development for 7 years Is insane... good job to the devs thay killed it in my opinion

friendly fire is lore accurate I would say. A lot of losses are FF in real war, about 30%. Recent document from Israel and how they destroy own drones is amazing to read. Who sees first and who is standing still = wins challenge it’s accurate too, perfect for sim. If u wanna more arcade game then it wouldn’t be a sim.
Overall as EA game, it’s really good. But it’s not tarkov :)

no it is. It is a BEAUTIFUL game they just got to get some performance stuff down which they already started on and then they are going to add so much more. according to the devs in this state its only around 20 percent done which is INSANE
What I've read is they're using full unreal engine 5 assets. This means a high end system is needed to run it for now but in a few years when the game is "released" it'll be acceptable from a performance view.

Ay I’m just as pissed at the Tarkov devs for the incident, but on the real this game sucks balls idk why people think it’s even comparable.
How can you mostly play fps games for years on years and not like the weapon system due to lack of knowledge on parts, surely by now shroud would know what goes with what especially for carbine platforms.

I agree with the attachment thing. If they want to do it fine but other games in the future do not need to go that crazy. In fact a place where you go upgrade the gun to different tiers or maybe different loadouts like stealth, range, full auto adjusted, and other things would be sick. I played tarkov for years, i was also a gunners mate in the navy, sometimes playing tarkov felt like my actual job but somehow less fun haha.

I think to solve FF they need to add a hitmaker sound and it takes more bullets to team kill so you know its a friendly.
Like you shoot at a buddy and you hear an audio cue saying watch friendly fire or you hear them play an audio saying Hey, watch your fire. Friendly here.

Biggest problem with this game for me is that its so blurry grainy and pixelated I can't see anything, Seems to have the exact same issue "The Finals" has - there is no native resolution rendering and the anti aliasing is forced and aggressive TAA, you are forced into using an upscaling/AI method, whether it's DLSS or something else. The issue is this is forcing insane anti-aliasing to the point where visibility on distance/moving objects is so poor, the game is virtually unplayable. Even at native 4k and yes i have glasses and did check my eyes and set my 3d resolution to 100%, you can barely see enemies who are 50m out because they are just a blurry mess. I don't know if this is a new trend, but this is the second FPS game which just doesn't have an option to disable anti-aliasing or have native rendering, and both have been unplayable, because the forced blur is so bad it causes eyestrain/headaches and reduces visibility to such a degree that the game loses any chance of being enjoyable. I went through all the options and there is no way to remove the blur, which is especially noticeable on distance objects or those in motion, please fix this.

I’d say tarkov is undefeated… compared to this unfinished game, EFT is a real extraction shooter and GZ is a team deathmatch sandbox extraction shooter.
Take tarkov in its alpha state vs this. That's a fair comparison. Tarkov was a dumpster fire then.

i find it funny people aren't talking about gray zones early release bullshit they just pulled. unheard edition drops then all of the sudden grey zone is in early access? game is so unplayable for more than half the community yet it gets early access so soon... why? because they wanted to capitalize on the BSG drama and rinse people for their money.

game runs with 50-60fps on my potato, idk why you all complain with your 5k euro pcs.
it runs normally on avarage of 80-90 fps's on my computer and when I get into the forests I get 140-150 fps's (ofc I dont put the settings on epic) . if you even have the game you probably with the wrong graphic settings or your computer just cant run new games at all. secondly Tarkov had much much worse servers problems when it came, they (Gray zone warefare) are doing great job considering its not a prema lag but some lagspikes that happen temorarly for 1-2 hours max (thats my personal experience playing this game for 40 hours or so). Even call of Duty that ears BILLIONS per year just with the cellphone APP they had really big struggles with lag issues for Months I repeat, for Months ! This game have literally 6 days of life and I dont really think the lag is a problem and Im very easy to criticize when I pay for a game that dont matches with the least of expectations ...
it won´t be for years and everyone with a little bit of brain knows this. we will see how patient will be the players who bought it now. i think most of the playerbase will leave after a while

Bruh, kinda disingenuous to say tk will be a huge problem when you can literally report people who tk you and they get booted off the server after their 2nd tk or so. I've watched Pestily play for 40 hours and he's only been tk-ed twice. But moreover, there are literally PvE servers where friendly fire is off. Pretty dishonest editing to not include that info when you're such a large streamer and your opinion can influence so many people.
To be fair, he probably didn't know that, so to say he is disingenuous/dishonest for that... idk. Plus, we don't know how things will be in the future. There's a possibility things take a turn for the worse, tk-wise. But it could also be better. I may not be getting the full context though,

He just voiced a bunch of assumptions, had time to learn better, but didnt bother or at least didnt add corrections in if had bothered to look up the information he was wrong on. The magic of video editing allows him to add corrections at any time, including after the upload. But he hasnt even annotated or commented on the video. Thats why its disingenuous.

I give it until beginning of June before everyone goes back to Tarkov.
