I got it for a few months ago. How is the steering stem? does it not wobble/rattle? (like many other xiaomi scooter etc does??) I've seen this in almost all scooters, super annoying. but not with the G4 ?
Amazon has had the G4 for sale for $950 + $100 shipping for months. Still, looks like a great scooter if the 82 pounds doesn’t scare anyone off. Great review, Hobart! Thank you for informing us and still entertaining us.
Awe thanks so much! Yeah Kukirin sells it on Amazon as well. If you get it from their website you get the free scooter bag and the options for a seat and the extra warranty so it's up to the buyer. I REALLY appreciate the kind words. I'm a one man band and do everything myself so it's good to hear some positive feedback from you guys once in a while. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
At the price, I’d say this scooter is a good deal comparatively. I would research Customer Service for it before purchasing, as I would for ANY brand of scooter. It would be fine for short trips. I like the fact that the acceleration curve is very soft: if it wasn’t, the rear wheel drive could be very dangerous (wheelie). This would be a decent choice for food delivery in a congested city environment: better if you could swap batteries or buy a bigger battery initially. The weight: I’m 70 years old, and own the original Dualtron STORM which weighs a little over 100 lbs. it DOES have a removable battery which brings the scooter’s weight down to 80 lbs or so, when removed. I’m able to carry it up 2 flights of stairs at my apartment with the aid of a scooter-sling, but it’s a real chore.
I got a HoneyWhale H4 for $800, basically the same thing and free shipping, hit 47 with a tailwind and 40 against the wind and also went up an 18° hill with no noticeable slowdown. Also i weigh 235lbs for reference
You didn't mention that holding the mode function turns cruise control on and holding the set function turns on zero set and you can turn the light on and off by tapping the power button and change modes while riding by double tapping the power button
Yeah you're right. Totally forgot to mention that. I might make another video showing the seat and how to install that and I'll mention it in that video for sure. Thank you for bringing that up.
@HobartsReviews awesome any idea if it's possible to buy the seat only i cant find it anywhere and thenone on their website doesn't look like the one that goes with the g4
I agree in all you said in the review I have got a range of 40 miles , with some steep hills, the last 2 bars blinking red, but still a lot of power due to the 60 volt battery My weight is 85 kg Only one big drawback, for me, I live on the 2 floor and no lift 😂
Hey, thanks for your comment. I'm glad you are getting the same in range. It's not typical to get what the manufacturer states but with this scooter it seems about right. Yeah.. lol. It's pretty heavy at 81lbs for sure. Thanks for watching!
I'm sorry I don't understand the question... Can you elaborate? There are 3 speed modes so you can use one of the other 2 modes to limit the top speed. I used race mode in the video so it was the fastest mode.
Depends on your budget. I reviewed the Gallop and it was pretty nice but I was not able to get to the top speed very often. I'm 5'11" and 195lbs so I'm not super heavy and I was always 3-5mph under the top speed. In my video was the first and only time I got to 40mph. With the G4 I could easily get to 43mph every time. Both are affected by the wind so it's a draw there. The brakes don't squeak on the G4 while the Gallop they were super squeaky and loud. Kind of annoying .They are both about the same size and weight. The headlight is better on the G4 and the screen is bigger and a touchscreen. The G4 wasn't the best in sugar sand as you can see but it's got street tires. The tires are bigger than the Gallop and tubeless vs 1" smaller tires and tubes on the Gallop. For $849 I would say it's better than the Gallop. Also I did not get even get close to the range they said on the Gallop...not even close. While the G4 did a pretty good job and I think I could get 40 miles easily. Also the throttle is super smooth and controlled on the G4 while the Gallop is jerky as I said in the video. The Gallop does have more torque than the G4 though if that's something that matters to you. The G4 is nice and smooth. I also reviewed the smaller Leopard and I have the same complaints as the Gallop. They did just come out with a new Gallop but specs didn't change much and it's more expensive. I like the Gallop, but for the price and specs I'd say the G4. Hope this helps my friend!
Hey man, kill me. Which dual motor rig you recommend (that kills hills and I'm 200lbs. Thanks. Put Mr outta my misery cause I can't decide on a hill climber and the wolf king isn't avail in zeh Germany.
I got the Teewing GT4 and it looks exactly like this scooter except it is red and black. Only seen 1 review of it. It has the same speed and range 43 mph 43 miles on a single charge. Went only 37 miles on it so far but I really like it for the price.
The teewing gt 4 is identical accept it has 1500 watts instead of 2000. All part of the titan group who make scooters. Thats why they look the same. The g4 picks up speed better
@kodfish1985 oh thats good to know, they were saying 2400w on the teewing website but someone in the comments said thats a lie, got the G4 coming tmrw upgraded from a g2 max
Hey, no there is no USB plug in on the G4. Not sure on the sale. They didn't tell me that part but get it before it goes up for sure. It's an incredible deal. Make sure to use my link in the description. 😉👍
They do. In the beginning of the video I showed where you can get the seat for $50 more. I didn't show it in this video but I may make a short video showing it in the future. It's a pretty substantial seat. Instead of just a post with a seat on top, it's two solid pieces of metal and the seat attached to the top. I haven't tried it yet but it seems it would be real solid.
Hey, one of the pictures shows the seat but I didn't see it mentioned in any of the text about the scooter so I can't guarantee it. Plus it's sold by a third party seller so I'm not sure how the warranty would work. Best beer is to use the link in my description and get it directly from Kukirin. 👍
I agree with the body but anything facing the wind can create wind resistance. Any way to remove anything solid you create less wind resistance. It's very very little but it's true.
Yeah totally agree. It's got power and gets to 43mph. It if you want dirt and sand power you need dual motors. If just riding on the street which is what I do it's awesome!
I have a g4, I've driven 4100km(2550mi) and still 0 problems (very good scooter {btw sorry for my bad english} )
Wow! That's a great long term report! 2550mi is awesome. I appreciate you telling me that. I totally agree!

Got the G4 for 680€ incl shipping. nuts!

This or leoout s10?
Not sure who Leoout is but kukirin is a well known brand so I would go with this

What is the Name of the Bluetooth App
There is no bluetooth app for this scooter.
I would like to order one from California but I am worried about customer support in China, Trust pilot has some bad reviews, anyone comment?
I've had no problems so far but you never know.
lol wind resistance. Your body slows you down not the stem. Stem or no stem you would go the same speed. They did it cause it’s cheaper to make
I agree with the body but anything facing the wind can create wind resistance. Any way to remove anything solid you create less wind resistance. It's very very little but it's true.
@@HobartsReviews technically yea Wasn’t thinking about weight so it makes a lil better sense
i just think it's interesting that their FASTEST scooter is only single motor??
Yeah I don't know. The G3 pro goes 40 so it's just 3mph but still.
The g4 max is their fastest tho...
If want any power, you gotta have dual motors
Yeah totally agree. It's got power and gets to 43mph. It if you want dirt and sand power you need dual motors. If just riding on the street which is what I do it's awesome!

Who is? Lol
