Roadhog is the ultimate ramatra counter. Every time I've 1v1d a hog, I've gotten so close to killing them, but the healing on hog just outclasses ramatras damage

He goes into a ton of detail of how Ramattra shouldn't be played as a normal tank where you rush in and be a bullet sponge, but as a long range tank who is annoying to deal with. Unfortunately, I think Ramattra is a tank that is very reliant on teammates when used at the moment. His movement speed (or lack thereof) can be a detriment without say, a Lucio (speed boost) or a any support really to, uh, support him in the thick of a fight. If you solo queued, I wonder how different your Ramattra experience would've been.
I want to play Ramattra a whole lot. But every time I play him, my friend who mostly plays healer (you cant play support with a Ramattra on your team) is suffering and I get outclassed by other tanks. They gotta tweak his survivability and numbers. And make his E an actual ability that worth a 12 second cooldown.

Rammatra just odd He's a tank but can't honestly tank well so even if you have amazing healers he can be absolutely melted even in Ulti form/Nemesis they definitely nerfed him abit too hard on release Especially with how much they buffed Doomfist with stupid amounts of stun and mobility, Hell Hog is still at the top of the tank game Rammatra is on my lower list of tanks for me to use cause easily melted

For what ive seen, ramattra is good, but he gets over shadowed by two other tanks that are ussaly better, roadhog and orisa, wish they kinda nerfed the two best tanks to even out the tanks

As a TANK he is the worst designed character they have ever added. He is a support (not healer) with a doubled healthbar at absolute best. In an average match he can do about equal to every other healer, a couple of tricks can extend his survivability but compared to any actual tank he will not last just by health difference. In a 1v1 against Every tank, he loses (skill level dependant of course). However. In a Good Team, he can be usable. In particular if he targets Anything beside the enemy tank, healers behind the tank to be specific. So in casual matches he's a dead fish. In my own opinion you'd still be better off using a Rein or Winston to perform the same job, but better because of any movement skill. In short: for this guy to ever be decent, he also needs a pocket medic.

The standard match containing him I've seen so far has been several people trying the newbie blindly before ragequitting, Or groups of at least three pocketing him the entire match with enemy teams rushing one by one and failing. Myself and a friend went through custom games and the firing range (where new characters are free to use) and tested his capabilities thoroughly at launch and came to the same conclusions I stated previously by experience.

I spent about 100 hours in New World because of Mr. Fruit. Very good. Fruit is a great leader to cool games.
