    I did this when my locs were just starting to develop but I never realized I was basically just interlocking lol. I really just HAD to do something with all the loose hair so I just rediscovered this old habit, thanks

      yes that is when I started doing it as well. It has been a lifesaver

      @@JungleBarbie Oh by the way, have you ever gotten shît for interlocking your hair and told that it's "white people shît"? I recently got some hate for having free forms and told that white people have to do interlocking only and I thought that was pretty weird and wanted to know if it goes the other way

    Nice video. I interlock my new growth sometimes. I have used the tool before on my thinner locs, but use my fingers on the thicker locs. I usually use the interlocking technique when I have a lot of new growth on certain locs.

    I am struggling to maintain neat dread regrowth, every time I wash my hair they become so loose and I can't crochet well. I will try this method, thanks!

    How did you start your locs? Did you do comb coils, braidlocs, or two strand twist?

    This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you prevent "going through the same whole"? I'm not sure if I understand. I have braidlocs, 8 months in you can check out my channel, and I have been doing 4-point rotations. I haven't had much trouble at all with gaps. I recently went to a loctician to make sure everything as good and she said a bad just a few locs with the "y" split. So after I do the 4-points, do I do them at a different angle to prevent "going through the same whole"?

    Question, when you said you don't put your hand through the same whole, did you part another whole within the braid and continued? If so, did you do a certain kind of pattern?

    • @mxrlzhxx
      @mxrlzhxx 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you part another hole
      There are two or four point rotations
      Some go north, east
      Some go north, east, south, west

  • @rmcandlelight
    @rmcandlelight 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It looks like you are putting your finger in the same direction. Are you using the 4 point rotation? tfs

    • @JungleBarbie
      @JungleBarbie  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No I do not use the 4 point rotation. I put my finger in the same direction but not through the same hole. The reason people do different direction is to prevent pushing through the same hole.
