rtoip1 its a Reverend Eastsider, Pete Anderson's sig model. I think the color is called mulberry mist. It looks purple, pink, or rose colored depending on the light. Very spiffy.
John Parsons , not really, a typical paf set is something like 4.5H for the neck, 6 for the bridge. However these pickups are Extremely Loud, Bill's designs are much more robust than a normal paf in terms of output and clarity. They would probably sound better with 250k pots. They're quite brilliant, although the bridge has an excellent snarl
Sounds good. I have an old pair of l500’s from the mid 80’s. Always liked them but ended up taking them out because the neck pickup was to tall for the cavity. I’m not 100 percent sure if they were bill’s work or the other guys, I posted pics once on a forum and people seemed to think they came from Bill. Been thinking about popping them in a 335 style guitar that I have.
l500s are awesome. i have a set in my ibanez sabre. they are loud and have more bite than my l90s. They sound great for jazz if you adjust your picking technique. Id say the l90s are a bit smoother, more "hi fi". Some people think the l90s sound bland, but i think theyre pretty slick. In my 335 copy I have a Duncan Alnico II pro neck which is great, esp for jazz w that languid attack they are known for, but I still think the l90s and l500s are more happening. The Duncan feels like my guitar is wearing beer goggles, but the Wilde pickups are like 4k resolution. Just amazing pickups.
you sold me... i need the 2 + 4 henry models :) nice tone! also, thanks for not recording this with a motorola razr
Beautiful guitar :) and playing 🤟
Those PRS's are gorgeous, but my eye caught that pinkish Tele in the back! Is that a shell pink or pink finish? Custom shop?

Sounds good, has got nice high end for a humbucker. Is the Henry rating pretty much like a lower wind PAF?
