There is a 2nd strategy with Sub Amrt. Instead of AP Darts, you can go for 0-3-1 or 2-3-0 Subs, Both can damage DDTs if have camo detection or Decamo DDTs.
At risk of sounding like a bot, I just want to say that I love your videos, they are fun, straight to the point and they have help me a lot in the past. My favorite is Obyn + Poplusts Druids and also Obyn + Grand Master Ninja + Shinobi Ninjas to buff it (I know that last one isn't in the video, but still is, for me, a fun one to do)
@@thebluphynix7179 His level 3 ability gives +1 damage to all towers in range. At level 14 it gives them +3, meaning that it will go to 5 layers, making it so it can one shot Pink Bloons (vs only one shot Green Bloons). I know it doesn't sound like much, but considering that the Grandmaster throws 8 Shurikens at once every 0.2 seconds (without the Shinobi Ninjas Buffs), it can shred through most Bloons. Give it the 20 Shinobis, a Stronger Stimulant or Permabrew, an Overclock or Ultraboost and a Call to Arms and/or a Homeland Defense and, paraphrasing the memes, "Haha Ninja goes brrrrrrrr".
aight ive played WAYYYY too much chimps so the easiest strats: 1: get a spirit. its that simple. just get stuff to pop big moabs (relentless, maim moab, moab press, first strike, spike storms, etc) 2: primary village - get a tier 5 dps tower then just abuse stall. grab relentless, embrittlement and as many moab presses as you can afford 3: get a spectre or super glue - would not have recommended these till latest patch but theyre great now, pls trust me 4: pop & awe + battery spam - use striker & village and youre chillin 5: sniper spam - maim moab + elite sniper + elite defender + tons and tons of bouncing bullets, all alc buffed. great for multi lane maps 6: carpet of spike is busted 7: special poperations and absolute zero is VERY strong DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE 8: spiked mines or berserker brew + spiked balls are always a great investment for their price
@@kornelthunderbolt9962I use sauda, 0-2-5 wizard, 6 different 2-0-4 druids, 5-0-2 sniper with 2-2-0 village, 4-2-0 heli, 0-2-4 ace, all towers buffed with 4-2-0 alchemist.
@@kornelthunderbolt9962 Even easier: Any hero that does decent damage in R40 (I like using Rosalia, since she can kind of do both or Sauda) + 250 sniper. Haven't tried this out for chimps yet, but it should still be aight
SJB has a series of shorts of these bad tip ideas, for example, he had one where he stacked a bunch of pools on top of each other, then put a middle path ice down, then placed a sniper on top so it could see everything lol
Besides being a very reliable CHIMPS strategy for many maps, PoD + Apache also has the bonus of easily being usable for 2TC, the So Spiiicey Ninja Kiwi achievement, and the No Harvest achievement, and the Apache itself can be easily used for both 2MPC and the All for One and One for One achievement
The real easiest strat is to just use Geraldo + any tower that can use his buffs. Gerry solos everything before round 90 with minimal effort, then turns your other tower into Goku for the last 10 rounds. Good recipients are Comanche, any Super, GMNinja, Tack Zone, Carpet of Spikes, and Big Plane
A strat from Reddit that I enjoy is Etienne + triple Tech Terror. Discount villages make Super Monkey purchases so much easier, and Etienne covers the camo detection. Getting him and a village down in a Ninja-alch early game will help make the Robo Monkeys easy to buy and use. Abilities are best used to eliminate DDTs and having the arms target First+Strong will help them take care of ZOMGs as well.
I think it’s important to say to keep your strats varied to keep the blackbordering journey as enjoyable as possible. I like to switch up my strats often just for the sake of it, so don’t feel pressured to use the “meta” strats every time. Still fun to do something busted now and then tho ;)
Mermonkeys are an incredible new tower to use with Sauda, an X-X-4 (later 5) mermonkey basically turns the echo into a resort donut, just for Sauda, and even supports her further with a little more range and faster CDs, also I'm sure plenty of people have done it already but it's also completely busted with Glaive Lord
003 Mermonkey removes overtime damage (which might seem bad at first) but get it to 005 Final Harmonic, A 5xx Bloon Solver can easily dominate a BAD, just have a few extra towers like xx5 Icicle Impale to clean up insides just in case so no leaks

Best strategie to beat most maps on Chimps with at least some water: Sauda Early Game Clear. Buy Boats and go for 2 3-2-0 to clear round 40. Buy a village next to the boats for camo detection. Go for 3 4-2-0 Boats until round 60. Buy the 5-2-0 Boat when you can. Start buying an 2-0-5 Spike Factory for shorter maps after buying an Alch 4-0-2. Buy an Ice Monkey or Glue Gunner (0-5-2) to slow things down.
My strat is place Sauda somewhere where the paths overlap (preferably) Place a 2-4-0 Druid Close By Get a 2-5-0 Spactory at the end of the track Make the Druid a 2-5-0 It’s super duper easy :)
One of my favourite strategies is Comanche + Glue Storm. (Bonus if you have Geraldo who just makes Comanche insane with sharpening stone.) Comanche Defense even without the bug leads up to Comanche Commander which can pretty much deal with every single lane map with a Glue Storm. If you wonder about Alchemist or Overclock not affecting the mini helis, that's where Glue Storm comes in as its +2 damage on anything is a proper buff to allow Comanche to destroy the 90s and is an MIB skip due to getting rid of the lead property on DDTs. Geraldo makes this strategy even more insane as sharpening stone gives Comanche insane pierce and when combined with Comanche, allows it to survive even on multi lane maps if you have one side being stalled out by your average CHIMPS support towers. I heard it's apparently the version 41.0 record for LCC on Bloody Puddles but take that with a grain of salt since I've only seen some skilled players talk about it.
For the first strategy, another option besides the Apache is a bloon exclusion zone. It's more expensive and needs mib, but it outputs a lot more damage and pushes back caramics.
I have three. One: I used Quincy to do this but this was before the striker buff and on a bad map for Sauda. I placed down bow man to start and then worked that into a sub which I upgraded to a 2-2-0. Then I got a glue gunner and got that to 0-1-2 and then bought a Cryo cannon for even more stalling. I got a camo village and a 3-2-0 alch for support. I upgraded the sub to a 2-3-0 and the ice to a 0-2-4 and the glue to a 0-2-4 too. I upgraded the camo village to a 4-2-0 and then saved up for an icicle impale, and then for a super glue. Finally I bought a pre-emptive for BAD damage. This strat is actually very good and is genuinely a DDT obliterator. Two: much shorter, I got Obyn then a bloonjitsu. Then a bunch of shnobes and then a sticky bomb. Then just saved for a grandmaster and then a master bomber. Rounded it out with jungle drums and MIB and it carried. Three: ENGI SPAM!!!! Just buy striker then get like eight 2-0-3 engis and a cleansing foam for round 24 and then a camo village for later. Bought two 4-0-2 engis and upgraded one of the 2-0-3s to a bloon trap. That was enough to save for a sentry expert and then for single target I ended with an archmage
Hey HBomb, what strats do you recommend for maps with multiple paths for Bloons? All of these strats were shown in single path maps so I am curious if you have any go toos on maps like water park and such
Even though I've already black bordered every beginner and intermediate map alongside more than half of the advanced/expert maps using my own strategies, I will watch this video with undivided attention.
Thanksies. Your first shown tactic worked for me on the very first map. It also featured one of my favorite monkeys: The helicopter. I absolutely like military monkeys ^^ Aren't they cu... WHO GAVE THE MONKEY AN AK?! Stay crunchy.
Did anyone else notice NK gave Obyn a buff? He grants nearby Druids camo detection when he reaches level 8. No 020 Village needed anymore but you can still use it for 202
this is a strat i use all the time that works wonders for me and i dont see many people discussing (maybe because its not actually as good as i think it is lol.) i use sauda early game because shes busted( and my free dart monkey on non-chimps runs), and thats enough for the early game pretty much already. then i use ice and glue with alchemist and village buffs, i upgrade ice to 0-2-5 and glue to 5-2-0 with alchemist on 4-2-0 and village on 2-3-0. if i have extra cash (which i usually do) i’ll also get a second village to 5-2-0. the ice monkey stops the blimps in their tracks and goes ham on them with sauda, and then the glue absolutely shreds everything that comes out. plus, icicles completely destroys the dense ceramic rushes (63 i think it is?) so hard. it lags my game every time lol because it freezes so many bloons and the icicles are just shredding everything
2-0-5 Necromancer is usually better because top path allows him to see through walls, which allows the reanimation spawner to be placed behind obstacles that can sometimes be tricky to locate.
But you can already place the reanimation spawner behind obstacles. It just can't attack with its main attack. Normally the WOF is a much better early game option, but for maps like moon landing, top path can be better.
@@Akuankka000 yeah, once you select a spawn location they only spin one direction (in the case of a converging map) or lane (in the case of a multi-lane map). Vs if you leave it alone, it automatically spawns them on the most important/relevant lane or direction at any given moment
i used the sauda+glue start on downstream and omg it was insane, tbh the perma spikes saved me at the end. I also spammed down recursive clusters at the end to help clean the children.
So far I've been using Grandmaster-Shinobi + Geraldo to clear Beginner maps, though recently I got bored of it and tried Obyn + Avatar of Wrath on In The Loop. Took me several uses of "retry last round", but I did it. Now to black border it... Oh, and thanks for this vid! I should try some of these. 😅
Love this - might try the final one on Rake. Is there anything for double lane maps? I guess I'll have to tackle the likes of Mesa and Pat's Pond soon too.
My favorite start for beginner and the next harder maps (idk the English translation, in German they are called Zwischenstüfler) and even a few of the advanced (fortgeschrittener) maps is: sauda, then a 0 2 2 wizard, then a 2 3 0 druid and then upgrade the druid to 2 4 0 and afterwards the wizard to 0 3 2 and then it's enough to save up for the 2 5 0 druid. And on easier maps, that would perfectly enough until round 95, but at harder maps, I go safe and always immediately after the 2 5 0 druid is up, I place a nail mashine and upgrade it to 2 0 5. And then I'm completely safe for up to round 100. I use that strat for impoppable too, but then the forest druid saves enough money for the wizard Phoenix 0 5 2 and yeah, that's even more safe then.
itd be nice to see a video about how you think about what towers to add to/ synergize with a strategy. Ive done a lot of chimps, but mostly with the same few towers and because of this im failing the harder maps
Good video, but i think for the Apache Prime strat its better to go for an overclock instead of a stronger stim since SS doesn't have good uptime comparitively from how quickly the Apache shoots
For the PoD + Apache strat, ive always died on rounds in the 90s, so ive basically just done a Comanche commander instead and i think the comanche is stronger straight up with a cheaper cost.
so many different strategies work with this, you could even use an alternative dps to dragon's breath early/mid game and instead work your way to a 502 biggest one or xx5 blooncineration late game for their normal use and a bonus of having a much more consistent dot than dragon's breath for the sauda buff
My strategy: (If you want to follow, please read all of it first) 1. Get down 2 Druids (0-1-1) 2. Place down Obyn (in range of the druids) 3. Get a Village (0-0-0, 1-0-0 if it is a bit out of range) in range of all the towers 4. Get an Alchemist (0-0-0) in range of all the towers 5. Upgrade the village to 1-1-0 6. For the camos, use Obyn's first ability 7. Upgrade the village to 1-2-0, and then 2-2-0 8. Get down 4 more druids (0-1-1) in range of the village and the alchemist 9. Upgrade the alchemist to 4-0-1 10. Upgrade ALL Druids to 0-1-3 11. Upgrade ALL Druids to 0-1-4 12. Upgrade one of the Druids to 0-1-5 13. Upgrade the village to 2-5-0 14. Use your abilities if needed gg (if this strategy is used it impoppable, you will not receive enough money for the 2-5-0 village, so just 2-4-0, and you can use the rest of the money on dps)
Those strategies will definitely come in handy. I do have one VERY important question: How do you choose the strategy to go for each map, when they are so vastly different and the higher difficulty ones so.... gimmicky?
I just go based off what the good spots for monkeys are. If there's a lot of water, go with buccs or subs. If there's a small section with a curve, sauda or tacks are nice. If there's a lot of open space, Poplusts or shinobis will work. As for harder maps, there are normally agreed upon strats that are best.
idk how good this strategy is but its really fun to put down a ton of middle path monkey aces with the bombs and middle path mortar monkeys with their increased speed!
Honestly in easy maps sauda saves all the way to heli, you get razor rotors before 28 and it solos r40, apache dartship is enough to save for prime before the 80s I know this cause this used to be my chimps strat
Once you get to the harder advanced maps and expert ones, general guides go out the window. And each solution becomes solely for 1 map. Which is why you really only see guides for these more difficult maps and not "Use this tower for a free win" As much as I'd like to make one, it would just be a Ravine Guide or X-Factor Walkthrough. Which there are several other channels that make better guides than I could.
i have 54/73 CHIMPS medals as of typing this, and aside from these strats mentioned, i just want people to know 5-0-0 maxed out megalodon beast handler instakills BADs
i already used a hyper strar to clear chimps on all begginer maps, just sauda, permaspike, spirit of the forest and fenix master wizard, now im looking for strats for the other dificulties
I was just testing out glue gunner on sandbox because I've never used it then i saw it can slow down moabs and said "eh thats good i think?" And when i place a 0-0-5 glue gunner and saw what it can do MY JAW LITERALLY DROPPED when i saw the potential of this tower, i was like "bro does no one use this!?!?" And later on i saw this vid lmao
Do the 4-0-0 ice monkey work by itself? Its description says that it makes frozen bloons take extra dmg (even MOABs), but it doesn't say anything about freezing MOABs However, we have the 0-0-5 ice monkey that says it can freeze MOABs
the first one helped me beat chimps and impoppable for the first time but any tips on how to beat double moabs since it didnt exactly workout for me on monkey meadow
works for any map with a part that converge at 1 lane somewhere. Sauda first, alch, super monkey, save for 2 discount villages, super monkey to 1,0,2 for moab, save to upgrade super monkey to 2,0,3 and alc to 4,2,0, get camo detection for one village and the 3rd tier primary one for second, get 4,2,0 ice and 0,2,4 glue, 2,0,4 super monkey, max ice first then glue,???, profit
I have been trying to beat midnight mansion C.H.I.M.P.S. And am wondering if Sauda Glue needs the spike factory or can be replaced for a tack zone, I have been using inferno ring I think and tack zone and it doesn’t work, should either be replaced for level 5 glue. I am really lost on it.
Every strategy i've seen so far requires more work than this but for every single one lane map just drop sauda, jungle's bounty followed by deadly spikes at the end, then perma-spike and spirit of the forest. Half of the game you are afk.
20:29 HBOMB: This Spactory still had a massive spikes that was unused at the end of the track 5 Seconds Later: 2 Camo Regrow Ceramics have entered to the pile.
On any map with a single lane and at least decent distance (no shorter than Another Brick) a REALLY simple strat is: Sauda, Apache Prime, Comanche Commander, MIB, and two Overclocks for Apache.
What other strategies do you think could/should be on this list? I'm sure I missed a few 😅
Village and quincy they never miss
The Spirt of the forest and the Carpet of spikes combo is so good on beginner-intermediate maps
*Geraldo + Comanche Commander*

The more important thing to note for PoD and Necro is how important it is to NOT PICK A SPAWN LOCATION on multi-lane maps. Huge difference.
@@GraceclawWhat changes? Do the zombies spawn on the track that the bloons will go on each round?
@@Akuankka000 yeah, once you select a spawn location they only spin one direction (in the case of a converging map) or lane (in the case of a multi-lane map).
Vs if you leave it alone, it automatically spawns them on the most important/relevant lane or direction at any given moment
2:55 shimmer: i am a joke to you?
Hbomb: yes you really are.
3:56 You called it LOL
I usually use the bomb strat but most of the time I use etienne , sentry paragon, and a 4 2 0 village with crossbow masters and a icicle impale
i used the sauda+glue start on downstream and omg it was insane, tbh the perma spikes saved me at the end.
As a glue gunner and Sauda fan, I see this as an absolute win.
Love this - might try the final one on Rake. Is there anything for double lane maps? I guess I'll have to tackle the likes of Mesa and Pat's Pond soon too.
Sauda
Glue 025
Sniper 025
Sniper 520
Druid 250
That is all you need
On most intermediate maps you can go Carrier Flagship Sky Shredder. With some DDT support the two can do most of the work rhemselves
Good video, but i think for the Apache Prime strat its better to go for an overclock instead of a stronger stim since SS doesn't have good uptime comparitively from how quickly the Apache shoots
For the PoD + Apache strat, ive always died on rounds in the 90s, so ive basically just done a Comanche commander instead and i think the comanche is stronger straight up with a cheaper cost.
super brittle tack zone works really well with sauda and glue provided you have the right map
so many different strategies work with this, you could even use an alternative dps to dragon's breath early/mid game and instead work your way to a 502 biggest one or xx5 blooncineration late game for their normal use and a bonus of having a much more consistent dot than dragon's breath for the sauda buff
Sauda, Wizard 0-5-2 and spike factory 2-0-5 are enough for beginner maps
Ngl, my easiest chimps strategy I have is inferno ring + glue gunner
My strategy: (If you want to follow, please read all of it first)
1. Get down 2 Druids (0-1-1)
2. Place down Obyn (in range of the druids)
3. Get a Village (0-0-0, 1-0-0 if it is a bit out of range) in range of all the towers
4. Get an Alchemist (0-0-0) in range of all the towers
5. Upgrade the village to 1-1-0
6. For the camos, use Obyn's first ability
7. Upgrade the village to 1-2-0, and then 2-2-0
8. Get down 4 more druids (0-1-1) in range of the village and the alchemist
9. Upgrade the alchemist to 4-0-1
10. Upgrade ALL Druids to 0-1-3
11. Upgrade ALL Druids to 0-1-4
12. Upgrade one of the Druids to 0-1-5
13. Upgrade the village to 2-5-0
14. Use your abilities if needed
gg
(if this strategy is used it impoppable, you will not receive enough money for the 2-5-0 village, so just 2-4-0, and you can use the rest of the money on dps)
I have completed chimps on every beginner map using sauda, 520 wizard, 502 tack shooter, 204 bomb shooter, 203 village and any other buffs or towers
tysm, this helped lot 😭🙏
I love how the btd community is still alive and thriving really well 😭😂🔥
idk how good this strategy is but its really fun to put down a ton of middle path monkey aces with the bombs and middle path mortar monkeys with their increased speed!
my favorite recent strat is bunching up all of my towers in one place and hoping for the best
The druid strat became even better since the obyn buff
032 wizard
230 robo monkey
x5x pirate
2xx village
420 alch
Stacked in one area
Is pretty much a safe strat for any map and then add from there
Honestly in easy maps sauda saves all the way to heli, you get razor rotors before 28 and it solos r40, apache dartship is enough to save for prime before the 80s
I know this cause this used to be my chimps strat
Sauda's leaping sword can clear out round 28 on most maps, and with good timing you can even use it to clear out round 30 on some maps
@@Marshall.R I am aware her ability pops leads, Im just saying you can get razor rotors in time for even less ability timing headache
My favorite strategy in the game is brickel triple dart sub spam its way too fun to use
My go-to is grandmaster wizard, apachie prime plus a village for camo
on last strat, after popping bad, the camo regrow bloons came out of ddt and they slipped past the defenses so spike saved u whiout u knowing
easiest: Sauda, 130 druid, 032 wizard, druid to 150 until round 59, choose whatever you like to beat the rest....gg
Gonna give this is a try. Cheers!
@@AliCanTUNCER8 yw. if you have water btw, the x5x sub is another ridiculous tower for its money and makes rounds 95 99 and 100 a joke.
For the Perma Spike factory, Should it be 2,0,5 or a 0,2,5? On the Sauda Glue strategy.

"His own personal alchemist"💅💫
Obviously the moab mauler strat is the best because you get to watch the dog rolling around all game
What about 1 specifically for the worst maps in the game cuz I’m really stuck on pats pond and X-factor and will likely need guidance for ravine
Once you get to the harder advanced maps and expert ones, general guides go out the window. And each solution becomes solely for 1 map. Which is why you really only see guides for these more difficult maps and not "Use this tower for a free win"
As much as I'd like to make one, it would just be a Ravine Guide or X-Factor Walkthrough. Which there are several other channels that make better guides than I could.
025 dart plus 502 boomerang plus buffs - less than 80k for a chimps strat
My fav is glue gunner(5-2-0)+ice monkey(2-0-5)+tack tower(5-2-0)
just completed my CHIMPS using the PoD & Apache trick. I thank you greatly. This helped so much
This might sound weird, but i love your voice
i have 54/73 CHIMPS medals as of typing this, and aside from these strats mentioned, i just want people to know 5-0-0 maxed out megalodon beast handler instakills BADs
There Are Better And Cheaper Alternatives You Know?
just got btd6
I mostly just use ninjas for xp
paragons are hard af to get
so when I finally got it I got alot of boss medals
i already used a hyper strar to clear chimps on all begginer maps, just sauda, permaspike, spirit of the forest and fenix master wizard, now im looking for strats for the other dificulties
On the longest track I finished chimps with 3 snipers etine a 052 glue gunner and had 30k money left after the bad
Can we get a video comparing icicle impale to the newly buffed super glue?
Do the 4-0-0 ice monkey work by itself?
Its description says that it makes frozen bloons take extra dmg (even MOABs), but it doesn't say anything about freezing MOABs
However, we have the 0-0-5 ice monkey that says it can freeze MOABs
It won't slow them down, but it'll make them take extra damage
Great video!
Thanks!
the first one helped me beat chimps and impoppable for the first time but any tips on how to beat double moabs since it didnt exactly workout for me on monkey meadow
bro a good combo : ettiene and then a 502 heli ,thats all you need
works for any map with a part that converge at 1 lane somewhere.
I can do these runs without the heros in the video?
You can place either Maulers or Clusters, honestly.
hey man i have been watching your videos for so long and really want to how your MOABs look different, i cant find how to do it anywhere. pleaseeee
I feel like the 1st strategy is unnecessarily complex but whatever floats your boat
Strategie No1 should also work on short maps with a higher difficulty, because Ezily will reach level 20 and destroys the BAD
Bucaneer 5-2-0 is overpowered 👍
You can delead ddts? Didn't know that. Played for years lol.
Thx for this
No problem!
@@Hbomb 👍
5-0-2 boomerang , 0-2-4 boomerang, 4-2-0 alch, sauda, 0-2-4 ace, 4-2-0 village, and that’s it
I have been trying to beat midnight mansion C.H.I.M.P.S. And am wondering if Sauda Glue needs the spike factory or can be replaced for a tack zone, I have been using inferno ring I think and tack zone and it doesn’t work, should either be replaced for level 5 glue. I am really lost on it.
Do you even need a radar scanner with the Druid strat? Obyn grants camo detection to Druids.
I stumbled into the last strat. I go primary's instead of wizard. usually a dart and a boomerang. then my mvp is a icicle impale
I watch so many chimps strategy videos that Alternate Bloons Round is now harder than chimps for me 😭
Why Obyn instead of Gwen
Every strategy i've seen so far requires more work than this but for every single one lane map just drop sauda, jungle's bounty followed by deadly spikes at the end, then perma-spike and spirit of the forest. Half of the game you are afk.
I really couldn't care less about beginner/intermediate strats. I need consistent strats for advanced/expert maps
There aren’t really consistent strategies for expert maps (or some advanced ones) because the maps have weird mechanics or map layouts
Yeah. I want to make expert map strats, but they are all VERY map specific. To the point where they'd just be guides for a specific map.
20:29
HBOMB: This Spactory still had a massive spikes that was unused at the end of the track
5 Seconds Later: 2 Camo Regrow Ceramics have entered to the pile.
Lmao 🤣
Some ceramics actully also leaked before that at 20:11
Umm, technically, there were a bunch of leftover (== unused) spikes in the end, so the statement IS true.
On any map with a single lane and at least decent distance (no shorter than Another Brick) a REALLY simple strat is:
Sauda, Apache Prime, Comanche Commander, MIB, and two Overclocks for Apache.
personally i call the sub spam strat "the fleet"
Thx for the info
Remember when apache prime was the main chimps tower 😢 power creep as killed it
Did they buff the 0-0-2 ninja?
