I heard from my grandfather about the great Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Nazakat ali khan those great maestros from Pakistan sung all important and difficult raagas of ancient India.

Of Pakistan to the great Tabla Maestros - Ustad Miyan Qadir Boqks , Ustad Miyan Ahmedjan Thirakwa , Ustad Miyan Shaukat Hussain Khan ( the best and with perfection in Tabla accompaniment with ustadji Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Nazakat ali khan ) .
An absolutely mesmerising rendition of one of the most difficult raag to execute. I am impressed with the style of rhythm ( layakari ) of great rendition of raaga Darbari performed at Kolkata at their younger time they came here in 1954 I heard from my grandfather . Thanks for uploading for us .

Darbari Kanada or Shuddh Kanada came from Carnatic music and was introduced to King Akbar by Miya Tansen. An ancient raga that continues to enthrall. The reflective interpretation of this raaga by these brothers is soothing and startling at the same time.

No, Adibumbus, this is not the tarana (yar-e-manzil beya...) which has the antara consisting of a sher from a ghazal by Khusrau. It is a bara khyal ("Hazrat Turkomaan...") followed by a chhota khyal. Anyhow, the singing is peerless.
No one can match such heavenly divine rendition of Darbari Kanada. This was specific to Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, such a gem he was!
