@@patty7791 it’s literally 2 year olds, it’s not a a big deal man, when she grows up, she won’t even remember it anyways, and if the other wanted to be in the spotlight, they should have moved forwards aswell
They should have choreographed the dance after her. It was GOOD to put her out front! She made most of the moves. Many of the others watched her to see what to do. She kept on the beat. I wish we could all be as free as her. The vast majority of adults should and need to take many lessons from her!!! Then I may have someone to dance with once in awhile!!
In every recital there’s always one kid who upstages everyone, one kid who forgets the dance and the kid who doesn’t even want to be there lol I love dance recital season so fun and funny

When I took my first theatre class, the director said he could always bring an actor down from overacting…but someone who was too reticent, he couldn’t do anything with…apply that to dance, and you’ve got this star!
I remember at one of my cousins dance recitals she stood there and shuffled her feet a couple times and cried in stage and we could barely hear her yell "I DONT WANNA BE HEEERRRREEEEE"

When my daughter Brandi was 3, she had her first (and only) dance recital. The little girls strutted out onto the stage and lined up. Just before the music started, Brandi spotted me, stepped out of line, and as she found her way through the audience to me, I was thinking oh no, she has stage fright! The dance lessons and rehearsals and time sewing the little costume, all for naught. When she reached me, she put her little arms around my neck, gave me a kiss, and before I could say anything, she turned around, walked back to the stage, and got back in line, then the little girls performed their tap dance. My heart burst with love for my sweet girl and that spontaneous hug and kiss she gave me. 🥰 BTW, she turned 42 today!
