Hey Colin fantastic footage you got there and I hope your so happy! I missed the partial eclipse of sun due to cloud and I'd love to get a shot of the international space station going along the face of the sun so hopefully I get a chance.
Very impressed with the iss along the sun and shows how small the space station is compared to our yellow dwarf star! I hope you get more footage next time and even show us all how's it's done etc as that would be great to know.
I've missed alot of astronomical events over the years and it upsets me but I do think of the biggest event I'll will ever see as it was so huge a event that had every telescope in the world turned towards Jupiter in July 1994!!! I saw 3 impact sites on Jupiter when comet shoemaker levy 9 hit the planet and one of the impact sites was Fragment G. I saw history in the making duren that one week with my custom 80m refractor. That was so exciting for me to actually see those impact sites duren the greatest astronomical event in history! I took chance to buy telescope in April 1994 to watch what happens on Jupiter and saw the event with my telescope!
Keep going strong with these kind of videos etc and thanks for sharing buddy!!!! Stay safe!

Sadly the weather is out of our control and in astronomy it seems to work against us more often than not during astronomical events... :(
I can't remember 1994 as I was only 5 years old at the time, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must've been to witness something like that!
That's really a one-of-a-kind event, sounds like that telescope was a good purchase at the time!
Thanks again for watching, I really appreciate it!
      Stay safe!
