Hi Colin I bet you had so much f8n there!!! Beautiful area and looks so peaceful too. Fantastic shots glad it worked out so good.
In Auguest I went to Thurso long journey and I took my Huawei p40pro smartphone and something incredible happened I was photographing the northern lights with Huawei P40pro and it's the best shots I've ever took as I've always wanted those shots and I could have got milky way shots but northern lights is much better. I'm planning a trip to the artic circle as that display was amazing in Thurso.
I hope you do a video how you shoot the northern lights as I think everybody should see mother nature's greatest show. That's why I bought the Huawei p40pro to get amazing northern lights displays in photos.
Is the area bortle 1? South Korea looks beautiful to visit. Its great how your traveling around doing astrophotography inspire others to do that.
Hope you had a fantastic time and take care buddy!

Thanks a lot! Northern lights is definitely on my bucket list!
The area I visited was Bortle 4, but no cities to the South so no light pollution in the direction of the Milky Way. And South Korea is a beautiful country to travel to, can definitely recommend!
      Take care!

Shame your gear got stolen man 😞. Nevertheless you were able to salvage some great atmospherical footage + that startrail and milky way shot turned out awesome!

      Thanks man!
The camera was gone two days after I came back, so I didn’t have the time to offload everything yet. Also lost one card with photos, but still had the remaining 6 cards which were full so I guess that’s lucky.
Ah well, stuff happens, I’m happy I was insured :)
