Okay, I watch a lot of dnd actual play shows. I mean a LOT. Critrole, d20, legends of Avantris, dndads, adventure zone, unprep casters, and so many others. This single episode has what has to be the most immersive dms I’ve ever listened to. This isn’t one guy playing a child and a carriage driver and a brigand… this is a child, a carriage driver, and a brigand existing on the road together. Amazing performance by everyone, but especially hats off to the dm!
Have you caught up with the episodes yet? The cast and Matt are doing incredible! Would like to know your thoughts on how the story has progressed so far, especially because the team have rp’ed the hell out of this campaign so far! Of course, Matt kept up his awesomeness and embodies every character he plays, men, women, children, animals, and Bisons. But GOD I am in love with this season particularly because every character is so lovable.

It’s been awhile since I’ve watched a campaign, but I’m happy that I decided to give this one a shot. The cast and overall production level are phenomenal. The fact that this is a western setting makes it a million times better and I can not wait to continue to watch this and see whats with the rolling for rage, why dose he wear the same perfume as his mom, and will they find anyone that speaks orc? I really enjoy the use of pauperous too describe the crowd that was assembled. It could describe the crowd of as both small or a indicator of the wealth of the crowd. I just loved that.
So excited for this new campaign! I started watching campaign 1 about a year ago or so, but ended up falling off cuz I had so much to catch up on and real life was making it hard to binge episodes. Ended up making it to the gang’s first mission into a myconid harvesting yard before I had to drop it, but I enjoyed it all so much along the way! Now I’m really pumped to be able to watch this campaign and keep up with it! I saw the debut on Twitch last Sunday and loved it! From the INCREDIBLE opening by Matt to the exciting moments of meeting everyone’s characters. I was a little apprehensive about the setting being particularly low magic and that none of the player characters were a magic casting class, but knowing how campaign 1 was full of custom abilities and stuff for each character, I’m sure Matt has something up his sleeve to keep things balanced and entertaining. Plus, the Wild West setting is really cool! Anyways, super excited to see more from you all! Can’t wait for Sunday!

This is my first time watching this channel. I've tried watching Critical Role and somewhat enjoyed it until Player Character Deaths occurred. Then tried Dimension 20 and greatly enjoyed them until they restricted so much to paid content and went a little too far in campaigns. After that I tried watching other channels and their campaign streams. BUT H@TED their format with individual cameras. So enjoy this format with what seems like everyone is in the same location. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

honestly great dm, i prefer a discription of the world and the current politiocal disputes/wars going on as a prologue, still an amazing opening though, good job man.
Ive arrived at campaign 2 🎉 And after doxleys First Turn i realised i basically built a Goliath doxley in DSA, who I never got to Play. So Excited to kinda See him in Action!
Great first episode while i catch up on the previous season, amazing setting and, most importantly, amazing characters and storytelling! A single tiny change i would suggest: i don't know if it's on purpose, but i find it a bit off putting that in the scenes in which a map or a battle is shown, the camera shots are arranged so that anyone is always looking away from each other. Maybe there's a reason i didnt get but having studied composition in photography and filmmaking i would suggest switching them, both for clarity and connection with the viewer. Keep up this level; again an amazing prologue to what i bet will be a great story. 💚

The first season is 100 episodes and the second season (just a continuation of the story but with a big review in case people wanted to start there instead of all the way back in the beginning). I will warn you: it was our first show and we had no money so the audio and video are not like this campaign. But it improves rather quickly!

This is my first time watching this channel. I've tried watching Critical Role and somewhat enjoyed it until Player Character Deaths occurred. Then tried Dimension 20 and greatly enjoyed them until they restricted so much to paid content and went a little too far in campaigns. After that I tried watching other channels and their campaign streams. BUT H@TED their format with individual cameras. So enjoy this format with what seems like everyone is in the same location. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

Great first episode while i catch up on the previous season, amazing setting and, most importantly, amazing characters and storytelling!
A single tiny change i would suggest: i don't know if it's on purpose, but i find it a bit off putting that in the scenes in which a map or a battle is shown, the camera shots are arranged so that anyone is always looking away from each other. Maybe there's a reason i didnt get but having studied composition in photography and filmmaking i would suggest switching them, both for clarity and connection with the viewer.
Keep up this level; again an amazing prologue to what i bet will be a great story. 💚

Ask and you shall receive! We actually have a playlist like that, which summarizes the events of the first half of campaign one (we call that “Season 1”). But you don’t even need to watch that whole playlist. Just watch Orba and Graven’s recaps - those deal with the gods of the world. The gods are the only thing that really carry over to this next campaign and only just a little bit. We wanted this new campaign to be unrelated to the first so new folks could jump right on with campaign 2 and need no catching up!

It’s on our channel under the “A Peak Beneath the Veil” playlist. The first season is 100 episodes and the second season (just a continuation of the story but with a big review in case people wanted to start there instead of all the way back in the beginning). I will warn you: it was our first show and we had no money so the audio and video are not like this campaign. But it improves rather quickly!
Getting in on this one, will have the Roll Stats up and ready once I have watched it.
