As a fairly new producer this was great, so I could see the different plugins out there. I did not even know that Vital was free actually so I am definitely giving it a try!
Anyone who uses Logic as their main DAW needs to get UNIFY from ThePluginGuru -- its main selling point is that it allows you to open multiple other plugins within itself like a rack, and it actually does so with fewer resources than those plugins would normally require, which is magical enough... But he's been adding new features to it every time I turn around, and at this point there's so much going on with it that I won't even attempt to go into it here. Some of my other recent faves: Shade by UVI, Soothe 2 by Oeksound and Gulfoss by Sound Theory for taming harshness and bringing out that polished EQ sound, Saturate by Newfangled Audio is actually THE clipping tool to use for getting your masters as loud as possible, and Scaler 2 from Plugin Boutique is like a music theory guide-in-a-box for coming up with great chord progressions and figuring out where to go with them. Omnisphere and Serum are still my go-to synths but I'm having a lot of fun with Vital right now... And anybody that plays heavy guitar music has no choice but to bow down to Neural DSP's lineup of plugins. Beyond that, I own WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many sample libraries for Kontakt, and my wallet hates my guts for it.
Vital is great but i dont like how u pretended that it is better then serum. The fact that vital js free is amazing and it is an extremely powerful plugin but serum has wavetables that are at least 10x better and is overall much more powerful. For people starting out in sound design, start with vital and eventually work your way into serum.
The plugins are great, exept Biggifier. It is a joke like Soundgoodizer and you shouldn't recommend it. It is "just" 40 dollars, but you can't compare it to professional plugins. You use different plugins to achieve different effects. A plugin that is literally a "Helper" skin is an insult for all other developers and it is just painful to see for me, that you are recommending it. Even if it is for the views, at least say the truth about it. Biggifier doesn't provide any advantage, it is destroying your mix and gains you 0 control.
@@AdenFoyer I did and it does the same as Helper/Pumper and similar plugins. I might not get the usage of the plugin, because there are tools that give you all the freedom you want. Saturn 2 for example lets you change the saturation of every frequency separately. Biggifier doesn't. It does several things at the same time and that's not what you want in a professional production. And if that's not the usage of the plugin it shouldn't be advertised like it was.
@@Hypagon If you think that professional means having control over everything, then this discussion is pointless. Using plugins to make music is often about quick tools to achieve certain things, and workflow is important. Several of the best producers in the world already love using this plugin; as it’s a quick way to make something sound bigger and fuller without having to pull up 7 different effects. It will also result in creative results you maybe wouldn’t otherwise have got. I respect you having your own opinion, but I do think it’s narrow-minded to not take into consideration that making music isn’t all about the tools being perfect - it’s about having a streamlined process from your head, into the DAW and out of the speakers.
Bruh, I thought I was going crazy. I had a few high name cracked plugs an thought it was time to buy them, I owed it to them for sure. BUT THEY DONT WORK AS FUCKING GOOD AS THE CRACKS. WTF MAN. HOW YA GUNNA ASK SOME POOR DUDE TO USE THE PAID VERSION WHEN IT DONT EVEN RUN NEARLY AS WELL...I’m not saying it’s right, just saying it’s fucked 😂
