When my theatre did this, they made it so it was like a highschool in the opening. The Sour Kangaroo was like a PTA mom, JoJo, Horton and Gertrude were ‘nerds’, the Wickershams were jocks, Mayzie and the Bird Girls were the ‘popular’ group, the who’s and jungle citizens were normal students, the Cat was a substitute teacher, and Yertle the Turtle was a principal.
Omg no way I used to go to this place with my grandmother I can't anymore because she passed away three weeks ago but I got excited because I got in the play a week before she passed.
I was Mr. Mayor, my last performance was yesterday. I loved being able to sing and dance. It was my very first musical, and it was so much fun (: definitely going to try musical theatre in college if i get the opportunity!
don’t listen to jenny you don’t have many lines but you are in many fun ensemble dances and my group has such cool costumes and the other bird girls for me are rlly nice
Bird girl, in my opinion is a really great part. I auditioned for Gertrude but I am completely satisfied. The costumes are so fun, and I am in almost every song in the show! Trust me, it’s a great part to have. Ignore @Jenny, it’s super fun. And thank you, Vivien, that’s nice of you to say (we are bird girls together in the same show)!

I was Horton. A mother came up to me after the show, and asked if i could put the costume back on, so that her daughters could meet Horton the Elephant! That is the best feeling.

I was Horton. A mother came up to me after the show, and asked if i could put the costume back on, so that her daughters could meet Horton the Elephant! That is the best feeling.

I was thing 2 and my friend played thing 1 and during the "drums of a jungle beginning to pound" part I was pretending the stage was a drum... but he pretended my head was a drum. -_-
