Only the red of the rgb led's are glowing, because they require less power than green and blue led's.

Made 3 schematic with different transistor, maybe 33k, 56k, 82k every single rgb contact

Can I do this with a Tri Color LED? With a common anode?
And if I do... will I need a Resistor for the red color since it gas a forward voltage of 2v? And both Green and Blue are at 3v...
So will I get the same effect if I have a power supply of a button cell battery of 3v?
Or will I have to get a 12v battery? I want to keep this thing small and this device seems to be a really good application.
Tri color LEDs have a circuit built in that causes them to change colors. That would only work for the first color in the series, which is always red. What you're talking about is not a "common anode". If you look closely at the tri colored LED, there is both a cathode and an anode for each color, just like with the LEDs in the strip in this video. You may be referring to a common ground, which this LED strip also has.
You have no way to bias the circuit. The music would have to be so loud it would damage your hearing. And that mic is passing 12 volts. It’s not at all designed for the application your using it for
hes probably doing what im running.. my audio reactive leds simply with a seperate amplifier board directly on my strip and since this amp doesnt output over 12v im fine its just not as bright and i have to play my secondary audio output on full to see movement XD
thats why im here cuz i want to make my own module but these videos are a fcking scam each time..
so how long did that mic last with one transistor and 12 volts. Also, is there a method to use that eliminates the microphone being held a 1/8 inch from the speaker. I really need my hand free for my beer. I still might try it out if its safe though... Nice video!!

Que chido bro y no tendrás un video donde pueda poner una tira led de 1 color conectado a un trazo que al golpearlo prenda ese led. Lo que pasa es que quiero ponerle a mi batería eléctrica un led mas un trazo debajo de los bombos y platillos y al golpear prenda un color.
Está muy bueno pero falta más potencia a la tira LED

Baja le la resistencia que le pusiste.
El.mejor resultado lo puedes obtener colocando una resistencia variable.
También depende el voltaje con el que alimentas el circuito.

Great video, I did and it worked, but the response of the LEDs is triggered slowly and when the volume of the audio is very high, I want to know if there is how to modify the sensitivity so that the LEDs on have a fast and strong response.
@@wiktorn4268 freaking clown answer. Two things the transistor needs to be biased. Try a much higher Beta transistor or compound darlingtion. The circuit here is CRAP

É possível substituir o resistor por algum outro valor sem perder a qualidade? Caso sim, quais sugere?
Eu substitui por um de 47k e ficou top... quanto menor for o valor do resistor, mais sensibilidade vai ter, testei com 22k mas o led ficou meio aceso... coloquei mais de 60k e ficou fraco, com 47k ficou ideal.

@@JodBronson singal to speaker is 12v constantly i think. So the leds will be on all the time or flash randomly, im not sure. But i have not heard anyone doing it & i have heard it will no work. & if you put 2 many leds to speaker wire it might damage the headunit if i remember correctly.

a transistor of more power is needed, (so that it is illuminated as it should be) each sector of 3 leds consumes 50 milliamps and that transistor at most will reach 300 milliamps, friend dedicate to something else, you are stoned.

Some suggestions
-Use a p2 jack instead of microphone or
-Use a audio amplifier, like lm386
-If using transistor, it would be better biaising it
-Or try with one more transistor

Deve ser pô causa do resistor.
Add a resistor to an electrical ground, or the positive part of a battery. The emf is causing the problem.

You can simply connect the terminals of LED with the terminals of the speaker. T h e LED will sync with the music from the speaker because LED and the speaker work at same 12 volts
