I have Mini 2 and Neo, and finally i would pick the Neo. Mini 2 is faster and have slightly better quality, but in overall Neo is giving better fun factor.

I've tried the Neo with a phone - I found it hard to get slow smooth movement near to your target, this is a shot I need the most. I don't want to carry around and charge a controller, so the fact it could be controlled by phone was what interested me. I believe the new Hoverairs will have a cinematic mode, so I'm waiting for the hands on reviews on those models. Also my work is all social media now and is vertical, so 16:9 frame markers would be nice.
@@markshirley01 the active track should also keep you in the centre of from for reels etc but it kinda doesn’t. Not the best showing from DJI in my opinion

was planning to buy a neo since i can't afford an Avata 2 for FPV purposes but ive been seeing that the 4k of the neo isnt that good and must be flown gentler because it can't stand some manuevers but hey, its only 200 bucks, good for beginners. I guess i'll stick with my mini 2 se for a while and save up for an avata 2 instead.
dude than you need to check other channels like how durable Neo is and how versatile this tiny thing can do with fpv, just see people how they get pass their Dji Neo from a tiny place and get outstanding footage with Dji Neo l, and if your something new to the drone than see how durable they made this, i’m sure that none of the crash test made with avata like people are doing with Neo, some awesome channels like GAVINHR and Mrblack and and highly recommend Drone Wilder and check their reviews who are huge to drone world than this guy, and check and decided wisely

I’m between a Neo Fly More or a standard Mini 3 with remote. I love the Neo format: it’s small and ready to fly; on the other hand, they saved too much on the camera/hardware specs and looks like a half baked device… it’s slow, very short flying time and the image quality is by far the worse of any dji drone from many years now. Funny enough, the Action 5 Pro suffers also a bit from mushy textures, too bright image and digital look… what’s going on? Yesterday I compared both physically and I still find the Neo / Avata “ready to use” format a lot better and stronger than the unfold/fold thing from others. That way and as we are starting the bad weather, I will just wait before I buy something. If DJI just improves the image quality, I might buy the Neo. Else I’ll wait for next year.
for me, they are not comparable. they're not at the same price point. neo is easy to use for beginners. take it out of the box, you can use it. while on mini 2 se, setting it up takes up a lot time before you can fly it. and to sum it up, Neo is for everyone and Mini 2 Se is for beginner to pro. So if I would chose, I chose Neo. the value for money, and the fact that even that kids can operate it is such great.
They’re the same Priceline, in fact the mini 2se comes in cheaper compared to the neo flymore combo. And also the mini 2 se is just a quick to get flying with the remote. It’s the same process
@@simplefilmstudiosI think Neo is much cheaper. It has a standard package with the unit, cable charger and 1 battery only. Because you don't need a controller, you can use it right away out from the box. Fly more combo is ONLY optional.
To me the Neo seems a bit of of a gimmick, with the poor video quality and hopeless flight time, I won't bother. The only thing it has over the 2SE is the follow mode. Dronie, helix, rocket, circle, and boomerang can all be done on the 2SE in the Quickshots mode.
you can't fly mini 2 se near people. That's when Neo has more versatility, safe, and durable. Neo is not complicated to setup so anyone can learn to use it in a matter of minutes without no controller. While on mini 2 se, you have to use contoller, pair it with the unit, calibrate, wait for GPS satellite, etc... Video quality and flight time are NOT the only basis that a drone is not a good buy.

Fair play, nice video. Appreciate effort but biggest advance of Neo was using it without remote. If any mini works without remote it would be no brainer. I had mini and mini 2 and theyre both good drones but remote and phone connection etc is just a hassle. Reason why 2.7k camera wasnt on Neo only DJI knows. Maybe its 2 grams heavier and it would affect flight performances. I was even looking to get mini 3 pro or mini 4 pro but I have already air 2s and Im not using it because of hassle with remote. Neo is far away from great but quite ok for some good b-rolls especially if we look at price tag. I hope Neo 2 will be of course 50% more expensive but hopefully it will have at least better camera and higher flight speeds especially for directional tracking. I would also pay easily 3 times more to have lets say Neo Max with obstacle avoidance, higher speed and maybe a bit longer flight time even that 10 mins per battery is quite ok for me but fast charging would be great. Even €30 vapes have fast charging so DJI could bring it but probablly nobody would buy fly more combo then. We will see what DJI will bring next. Thanks for the video.

Mini 2 SE Every time! I need to be able to fly more than 100 feet away. I wish the SE remote worked on the NEO, I would get one.
That was almost the silliest thing DJI did was not allowing the MINI 2 se remote to work with the neo

There’s some compatible controllers with the neo. Best to check and make sure which one suits just in case

While the prices are similar that’s pretty much where it ends. The mini 2 se is a true mini drone the neo is for a tic tok.
TikTok yes but you can still do the quick shot features on the mini 2 se. The only advantage really is follow mode and directional track

Without a remote, the mini wouldnt go far without losing connection. I think it's a benefit.
