  • Mechanism of conduction is a very important topic of applied chemistry .This concept is presented in a simple manner through animation. This video is useful for the students of FIRST YEAR OF ENGINEERING COURSE , (10 + 2) level, first year of bachelor's degree in science, students of applied chemistry/industrial chemistry and for the students preparing for competitive examinations like IIT JEE/NEET.

Really helpful video. I do have one question. Whats the difference between bipolaron and two charged soliton?

As in the case of semiconductors, extrinsic semiconductors are those which are doped by some pentavalent or trivalent impurity, and intrinsic semiconductors have no impurity (doped atoms). My question is, why do we categorize doped conducting polymers as "intrinsically conducting polymers"? Why "doped conducting polymers" are not "extrinsically conducting polymers"?
