Pulau Ketam & Sungai Lima 五条港 & 吉胆岛 | by bike, train & boat

We went for a short getaway to a fishing village off the coast of Malaysia, where they are known for their dried shrimp 虾米 and life on the island.
It was a weekend and we were allowed to take the foldie bikes onto the LRT (overground) and KTM (train) towards Port Klang where we took a boat to Pulau Ketam. You can chose to go Sungai Lima or Pulau Ketam depending on your itinerary. I personally suggest skipping Pulau Ketam and just visit Sungai Lima if you prefer a peaceful & cosy retreat. Pulau Ketam is gentrified and rather crowded.
We stayed at the Southern Home 南方小屋 and his place can cater to solo traveller up to a group of friends. The place is thoughtfully decorated and a hidden gem indeed!
