That’s great. It’s definitely a fun hobby and once you get into it there’s so many things that you can make and upholster. The auto side of things is a whole different beast for sure. Auto is fun but a whole new challenge. Working with scrim foam on the pannels is my favorite part. It amazes me what some of these trimmers can do on old machines.
Cool man 👍. I have developed a minor sewing machine obsession over the last year. All so I can do auto upholstery. Have a Singer 111 walking foot beast, a Singer 112 (111's twin needle sister). Both need a little love but are solid machines. Also just picked up a Meistergram industrial embroidery machine too. Probably going to get a Juki sometime also. Know an upholsterer that swears by them.
