I'll never stop loving how perfect the 10 decade couple are for each other.
That is a woman who knows just how stupid her husband is.
They left out the best one! My favorite was from the Newlywed game. He asked the wives, "Where's the strangest place you've ever had sex?" One said on a plane but the girl next to her answered, "In the butt." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Usually, they are weird answers where people freeze up under pressure, but sometimes people are just downright stupid. I remember watching one that started positive with "Good answer!" cheers from the family, but the guy answered nothing right. Eventually, the mom turns and says, "I can't believe you're really this stupid."
There is a guy named Eric D’Allessandro who does this hilarious bit about “this is why Italian families are never on Family Feud..” and it’s basically like they would never be supportive of the bad answers. 🤣🤣🤣
I think the very last clip the guy says Alligator because he was thinking of an animal that had 3 of the same letters in it's name (though he still would have been wrong lol). Only explanation I can come up with.
I just cannot get over the delivery of the word "dick" at 8:56. Hilarious!
And Dawson changing his delivery, instead of “show me ‘dick’” he said “let me see what he said!”

That is one popular video on TH-cam. Those old Family Feud and The Newlywed Game episodes were pretty good back then. They still come on Pluto TV on occasions.

The Family Feud host you said sounded drunk was Richard Dawson. He was a British actor, his most famous role was on the TV comedy Hogan's Heros.

Terrible? I thought it was a brilliant response to his wifes boring answer. Who would have expected that response? lol. And, the really funny thing about his response is that many people during that time period would not have understood the joke. The TV host knew exactly what he was referring to, hence the big grin. :)

On many of those segments they emitted parts of it. For example, the girl who said "over a fire" was promised by the host he'd give her the money herself if it was up there...and it was (12 points). The guy who said procupine was preceded by a female family member screeching "porkloin" but made it sound like she said "pork lion", Steve Harvey actually said (in a later interview) that family set back black people 200 years.

5:36 no its not a good answer because the letter P was already on the board so it would have also been on the board in the word "pushers".
So, for the record, the Family Feud game show has run, off & on, from 1976 - the present day, & has 6 different hosts.
In wheel of fortune when you guess a letter, they reveal all of that letter on the board. So it couldn’t have been a group of pill-pushers because p was already on the board.
To be fair, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Richard Dawson was drunk while hosting "Family Feud".

Best description/explanation so far, however, living in a beach town in the 70's most girls were either wearing bikini tops or halter tops with shorts, hot pants or hip huggers during the day. That's about as casual as you can get. And, oftentimes we wore halter tops if we were going clubbing at night.
I still think those tops are much more sexy than the free for all of current fashions. There's little to nothing left to the imagination, it's all on display. No mystery. Of course, I assume most men love it. :)

My favorite Family Feud answer was:

The September episode of Family Feud will always be legendary!

I knew a guy who was on a gameshow a long time ago, and he told us, that if you are too boring, and the show never airs, you don't win the prize.
I literally did a spit take when the guy said Russia was known for Russians. 😂😂👌
That awkward nervousness on gameshows can happen when recording guitar, too. There are times when I came up with something awesome on the guitar, but then I hit the record button and it's like I've never played guitar in my life.
These shows brought back such good memories.

My mom told me her dad liked to watch The Newlywed Game. That show was full of innuendo because they wanted to ask questions with answers you couldn't say on tv.

It's an old enough clip that what the woman at just before 3 minutes was thinking of when she said "Halter Top" is a woman's piece of clothing with a rectangle/square piece of clothing that covers the boob area or a v-neck piece of cloth that covers the boob area with strings or straps that tie behind the neck and around the back. Halter tops these days encompass some other styles than the 70s - 90s version. I tried to dig through google on what a Halter Top could be called in the UK, but as far as I can tell, they're just called Halter Tops. The name comes from the Halter Strap that is used on Horses.

15:28 the problem at the start here is that in the US you never hear the first vowel in mosquito in many people's accents. the O typically gets really reduced, to a much more central vowel.

Hollywood Squares was one of the funniest to watch. A lot of the questions on these shows were designed to elicit a more that G rated response & it worked. ;o)

You laugh at the bull semen salesman, but I looked into buying a ranch a few years back, and my research uncovered the fact that there is a huge market for bull semen, and it's insanely expensive. I mean, it does make sense. It's cheaper than keeping a bunch of bulls on hand for breeding purposes, and it's much easier to transport.

Man, halter tops makes you love springtime. They're women's garments that uses straplike fabric around the neck or shoulders that leaves levels of the back exposed. The straps being like halters, equestrian style. Can be a t-shirt cheap, can be a pricey blouse, can be a nighty or teddy.
