I left the US in 1999. Have lived in Asia for the last 25 years. I'll probably be moving to Russia in a couple of years. The US, and the west in general, is totally lost.
Russia has temporarily reduced their immigration policies. They are much more lax requirements than before. Before one had to know Russian to move there and that is no longer the case. This is temporary so if thinking of moving to Russia it's an opportune time

In 2018, Macron asked Pavel Durov if he would like to relocate Telegram to France. He declined, no doubt realising that France/EU would try to control the platform.
France also gave him French citizenship because he was "promoting the influence of France through proliferation of free speech with Telegram". Now they are arresting him for that same thing

OMG, Larry just got real. I am gratified, pleased, and exhilarated beyond belief. The printing press is the only answer. Print only requires daylight to read.
Thanks for the info Larry, these types of events speak volumes, the tide is deservedly turning significantly against some very scared people, and history well illustrates their coming self inflicted destiny.
Civil liberties died and hardly anyone came to the funeral. It was a modest affair and although some of the mourners in attendance solemnly prayed to a god who wasn’t able to fit it in to his busy schedule the majority just sobbed and wept anguished tears of woe as the casket moved inexorably towards the maw of the crematory oven. Commiserations and extended condolences flit like whiperwills among the gathered flock, who, visibly shaken, turned and slowly peeled off towards the officers waiting at the gates of the cemetery. All resigned to a bleaker future than any thought possible only days before.
What about the stabbing in Germany right before this weekend elections in eastern Germany are taking place, where the political establishment fears a landslide victory of the right wing party AfD and the new BSW, both being strongly against the puppet war in Ukraine and mass immigration. Besides the one in Solingen, since then 2 more attacking man with knifes in their hands had been shot dead by the german police. A completely unusual and unprecedented series of events so close before an election. The established parties are now very active to give the impression of strong countermeasures, which are just paper tigers but strongly advertised by German main media channels. I don't believe German services did facilitate these attacks, they are not (yet) mean enough. But CIA or MI6 or even SBU being responsible for this attacks is very plausibly given the fact that they already orchestrated a number terror attacks in the past like the attack on the concert hall in Russia and some more. Call me crazy, but I don't believe in coincidences of this kind.

Great work, Larry. In addition, I think that the French charge goes even further and, to me, suggests that Elon Musk et al could be held responsible for any content on their platform! So, if this goes ahead, hypothetically / theoretically, ALL free speech can be censored and then stopped. We are doomed.

In France, wiretaps are generally legal but are subject to strict regulations. They are typically permitted only with judicial authorization in specific circumstances, such as during criminal investigations involving serious offenses. The procedure usually requires the involvement of a judge, and there are rigorous safeguards to protect individual privacy rights. Unauthorized wiretapping or interception of communications can lead to legal consequences
