The storyline is a little tricky to figure out, but it's patterned after Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. They hypnotize her to forget about her ex, but then memories start coming back. When she goes back to them, she probably asks them to undo it (because they resist at first). Once they put her back under, they finish the job (against her wishes?)... It's a great song by itself, but I wish more people could appreciate the story in the video...

Guys just stop, if you really loved them during the midnight circus and the grasshoppers you should've supported them, the only song that got they popularity is Goodye to romance (which u call "boring ballad song") cause it matches the Korean taste in music, it even charted in the top 10 for months, you can even check their live performances the fan chants were crazy! and I'm hoping this song to chart well cause it's absolutely amazing
