haha Hotta is great, as a ToF player since day one i have been there in everything, the good n bad moments and tof become my fav game and quited all others, even the new ones
Hotta is a good at developing game no doubt, everyone who studied computer engineering and game development know hotta problem is not their ability to developed the game, but their inability to understand their players needs and demands especially in global, this is why successful software companies have whole building and departments just for user experience as it is a super hard thing to get right

Ehhhh not really. Compared to Hoyo’s Honkaiverse and their games actually connecting up to each other in some way or another. This game and Tower of Fantasy seem to just be completely separate from each other.
Saw the 17 min gameplay video. I'm stoked. I'm dropping all other gachas for NTE. I'm also proud how much has Hoppa grown from ToF 1.0 to this beast of a game. I'm glad my money spent on ToF actually went into making a new game with gameplay and experiences instead of ad spam.

anime style gta-like game is definitely a still unexplored niche that can very easily explode esp among vtubers and streamers but a bit too early to get hyped. Let's see if the multiplayer gameplay loop can somehow be as good as GTA while balancing gacha elements. A big bet they could make is make the gacha for cosmetics only or stuffs that doesn't matter "too much"(like those chinese mobile MOBAs) and they would still make bank if they hit it big but sounds very unlikely.
I hope they can optimize ToF after NTE release, im kinda torn wether to stick with ToF or go to NTE, i still love ToF very much but i got too many games to play daily 😢

I think the MMO aspect is the reason why TOF never became as smooth as the other games; MMO will never be as smooth as single-player open world games because of the amount of players in the overworld

While I love WuWa but I still miss a lot of features in ToF and wish WuWa would implement them. So I will be following NTE.
