"To fit whatever people...(ahem)...whatever things you want". Very nice!
The guy was an interior decorator
A survivor like this deserves a full detailing.
With a fine tooth comb 🪮!
@@moonshinershonor202 and some disinfectant!
@@RC-qf6wr and a lead test!🧐
Man you’re dropping a video everyday, you got more of these stored up than our oil reserves, and I gotta say I’m here for it
Had a 96 in Montana Blue , same body, hard top, best car ever
Make Cars Burgundy Again 🎉
I had a '95 Ford Contour in that same color.
I love that wrinkly leather. Looks so soft and luxurious ❤️
Oh man I love these. You rarely saw them then, and even more rare now.
Reminds me of the Midtown Madness games 👌🏻👌🏻
Is this me, or this generation of Eldorado is sorely underrated? I remember last seeing them in Midtown Madness series and that's pretty much it. Wish more modern racing games feature cars from this era.
Absolutely
They’re gorgeous cars, it’s a shame the engine is so bad it held this back
I love this gen of Eldorado despite the reputation of the Northstar.
People like the car, they just know it's a money pit to own because '90s Northstar (it got better after 2000, and even better in the late '00s but by then the Eldorado was gone).
Such a beautiful car! It would be even more beautiful if the owner cared to detail it. All the buttons and switchgear are caked with dirt! I don’t understand these people that give their cars to Zack for review and they are filthy. If my car was being reviewed for the world to see I would at least make sure it’s clean!
As always a great video. Love the cameo of my Fiero and myself. Looks like you got the back of my head or as I like to say my good side. 🤣👍 I have a couple more cars. Look forward to seeing you again.
That is the ultimate boomermobile! Just needs some love.
The Coach Builder Eldorado was never considered a factory convertible. You could not order the car as a convertible from Cadillac. You could from a Cadillac dealer that dealt with Coach Builders. You could also send your car directly to them even if it was a few years old at the time. The one you reviewed is a Soft Boot car. They also started producing a hardboot version in mid 1996. From 1992-2002 they produced roughly 2200 Eldorado convertibles
This is a better Allante than the Allante imo.
So cool, didn't know about the convertible cost!.
I'd own that for about one day before I got the steering wheel replaced/rebuilt/re-dyed - something.
Nice ride Zachary.
Iconic, the closest thing in the modern era to riding a true 71-76 B-body drop top.
That interior is filthy
It looks like they left it out in the rain a few times with the top down - a lot of mold on the leather.
Awesome!
My "luscious locks" parted ways with my scalp shortly after this beast hit the market, but I'd still love to have one...hopefully with the dreaded Northstar issues worked out by now. Bald head notwithstanding.
Love the colors of that car.
I love these cars. I have a 2006 Cadillac DTS! In the dark blue its nice. Its my first car! Of course its a north star too.
Nice! Does it still run well? My first car was a 1985 Cadillac Coupe DeVille!!
I believe the name of that color is "Dark Cherry"
Cool car. The drivers seat and steering wheel were worn but that is understandable considering the cars age. May be you can do a ride in a Cadillac XLR.
123K in today's money for that convertible optioned Cadillac.
always admired the Eldorado though in certain years color choices were limited on the Convertible
Hey, one of these were in the movie grown ups. Kevin james' character drove it only briefly seen when they're all driving to the cabin
A black one was in the movie Get Shorty.
@@1524mike do you remember the Cadillac of minivans?
@@williamsinger4124I certainly do. 🤣🤣
I've always wanted one of these but I'm worried about part support for the roof. Can you still find parts to fix the roof when it inevitably fails?
Thank goodness I have never had any problems with the mechanics of the roof. I do need to replace some gaskets, but I’m not too worried about that. I did replace the rear window motors but that was easy. Auto zone had the motors on the shelf.
The coach builder is still in business. Droptop Customs.
Still one of my favorite eras of Cadillac design. Shame about the engines because the rest was nice.
As soon as time travel is invented I will be buying one of these in black off the showroom floor in 1995. Not the convertible though
It's got Paulie Guatieri's name all over it.
It`s no Lebaron Freddy
Crusty nasty consoles & gear shift handles are an instant turn off
Buying a used Cadillac with a Northstar, is like grabbing a grenade with the pin partially pulled. But you never knew how far the pin was pulled until it flew out an blew up
Better than the Alante
looks cheap - never understood americans thinking a tarted up chevrolet was a luxury vehicle
You don't know much about cars, do you?
There was no Chevy comparable to this. And the engine was Cadillac-only.
Seriously? My 2005 Honda Odyssey with 300K is cleaner than this-Yes I still detail it-at least the inside. WTH is in that shifter track?
