    Great video.
    Is there a reason you don't have your livescope transducer mounted on your trolling motor shaft?
    Did you make the aluminum mount you are using for your transducer?

    • @ClearWaterCrappie
      @ClearWaterCrappie  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cecil Johnson The boat is my buddies (the other guy in the video who doesn’t talk lol), but depending on the wind and where the fish are you can move the transducer accordingly and don’t have to move the whole boat. There are pros and cons to each set up. Thanks for watching!

    I am on a budget I have a fish finder Near my steering wheel and I am on a budget do I need one in the front of the boat to Catch crappie like that Or can I use markers I am in South Carolina I fish Savannah river

    • @ClearWaterCrappie
      @ClearWaterCrappie  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathaniel Miller it is extremely tuff to pinpoint single crappie like we are doing in the video on timber with a 2D or down imaging graph. Take a look at some of my other videos the ones that feature the “white boat”, I use only one graph on the console to catch crappie! For the Savannah River i would actually have to fish it to tell you exactly how they act there bud. Thank you for commenting and watching!

      Michael Tew it is like anything else. The more you practice the better you will get. Learn the fishes behavior and pay real close attention to their movements according to what you are presenting or even how close or loud you are being. Those things will help a lot. Thanks for watching bud!

    Fantastic video! I just got livescope myself. I found a huge school of crappie on a pile this weekend. I wanted to stay back from the pile and pitch in like you were doing to keep from spooking the fish but I kept getting hung. I did fine dropping straight down but the fish turned off after 4 or 5 fish but I could still see 50 plus fish on the pile. How much were you getting hung pitching those jigs out into those trees?

    • @ClearWaterCrappie
