Akua Benipour honored with the Diamond in the Rough at 6th WOFAGRIC and Gold in the Soil Awards.

Madam Akua Benipour, a 43-year-old farmer from Asuatia in the Sunyani Municipality of Ghana, has been recognized with the Diamond in the Rough Award at the 6th Women in Food and Agricultural Leadership Training Forum and Gold in the Soil Awards held at the Sunyani Technical University on July 9th and 10th, 2024. Benipour has impressively transformed her modest 5-acre farm into a thriving 70-acre agricultural enterprise. Her farm showcases a diverse array of crops.
