Hello, purrely player here, do you think the ghost trick engine would be good in purrely? for almost no investment you get a monster negate+steal, an easy body for a 4 mat zeus, and a wall in case your noir gets outed. I genuinely think it's better than summoning beauty, especially while a pretty memory is under noir.
One interaction I really wanted to see you pull off in one of the features where you use anima and pretty memory to take two cards for the cost of one card.
i couldve done it during my dragon link feature match but I was trying to play really fast and couldn't do the line

if I activate purrelylys effect to upgrade from the GY and the opponent chains book of moon targeting my purrelyly, does the effect still resolve?
i’m confused. did you chain book of moon to DRNM targeting noir, then c3 and c4 noir effects? because we can’t respond to DRNM with monster effects
He meant once Dr No resolves. If the Noir is facedown while resolving its effect, it doesn't know it was dark rulered is what he is saying.

Pak had a very high chance to make worlds luck does play a role tho. In top cut pak had game next turn with one card left in deck and his opponent top decked freezing tip to banish exactly one so he decked out by one card it was unfortunate.
In another instance Game 3 Kamal Crooks (purely) vs Enzo (kash), enzo went first and d barrier impermed kamal so it was over from there as well. When there are players that good all together who simply cannot misplay seemingly( luck is the biggest factor but anyone who is good enough with a consistent enough deck can make it to day 2 generally imo

What do you think about time tearing morganite in this deck
Not enough space in the deck, too slow you don’t need the extra normal and you’re already drawing cards off sleepy memory and getting recursion off the field and continuous spell. Sometimes you need to otk or you lose and drawing that card will never do anything for you even post side in a Grindy matchup. There’s simply so many way better options. Ok in floo tho but still bad

Whats the reason for the book interaction with noir? It seems like it follows the effect veiler vs rescue rabbit interaction, which does not let rabbit resolve
When a monster is set it's basically reset, where as a monster that leaves the field like rabbit will still be negated as cards activate and resolve in the same place.
CL1 activate Noir, target opponent's Fenrir
CL2 Moon target Noir
resolves: Noir is flipped face down and Fenrir is sent to the bottom of the deck.
This interaction works because monsters being flipped face down "forget" they are negated. This is different from Veiler on RR
rescue rabbit vs veiler is completely different lmao
DRNM is more like Skill drain rather than veiler.

I think the play is you attack with happy and the first add is delicious and then after its double pretty memory, then when you go to mp2 you activate the first pretty memory sending whatever you have on field to attach whatever is on your opponents field, then do it again then thats like 9 mat noir and you can use 1 purrely/lily to go into the delicious you added to hand attach 2 from gy and you use the last pretty memory and attach it to plump then rank up. Theres multiple ways of doing it but this is the main one I see personally.

I dont get why the drnm-bom interaction works
Cards that are set are not like cards that are sent to the GY or almost anything else in the game. Even if Noir has successfully been negated by imperm/drnm/ect, as soon as it is set by an effect like BOM it forgets all lingering effects on it-- so the card no longer knows that it is negated at time of resolution

I think try looking up if a monster needs to remain face up to resolve effects. Dark ruler negates the effects but since you are chaining the effects ending in book the monster is not face up anymore thus being treated as a new monster letting it resolve in chain
@@KillerOstrich This is not what Pak meant. Who Dark rulers after they established a board? He is saying after the DRNM is resolved and they start playing you can activate the negated Noir and afterwards chain book. The monster forgets it was negated and now it will spin.

You can’t noir cl2 when they drnm you
You don’t. You let it resolve then activate the effects in a new chain and then chain book last so when the spin effects resolve Noir would have been facedown “forgetting” it was negated.
You don’t chain noir to drnm . You activate noir as cl1 and then again as cl2 then book noir as cl3. All this is done any point AFTER drnm completely resolves. Drnm does not negate ACTIVATION so noir can still send for cost and activate as much as it wants.
I was ecstatic to see "HERO" in the top 32, but furry babies with their latest limitation? Impressive. Meanwhile, "Branded" remains untouched.
