Yaahn, thanks for the video. I’ve been bouncing my stems to audio & drag them into Logic to finish. It’s a bit easier than the multiple steps here but it’s always more than one way to do something when it comes to music. I’m able to use the keyboard as a midi controller while accessing all my MPC sounds as a VST inside logic. Bounce in place & add another track. 🤷🏾♂️
No problem! And yes, bouncing stems is the best strategy IMO as well. Since I use Ableton, I can actually convert the MPC sequences to a Ableton Session
Finally something practical on the MPC to a Daw thank you.. wanted to see this before I Purchased this Keyboard lol But what we need is a Video about. Using in standalone mood transferring those stems to a DAW. one Question tho What about the automated Effects that are applied on the MPC does the Stems come over like that when exported separately ?
@@editorkmanikhemmusicprod Yes indeed the Automation was printed! However there's some other issues popping up that I'm noticing (outside of automation)..
Can you create a video like this for the MPC Key 37 and Abelton? Also, if we use the plug-in as described in your video in Abelton will we still need to route audio wires to inputs 1 and 2 to the interface?
Dope , I’ve wanting to use studio one as sound module with mpc keys 37, I will try to apply what you did in logic to studio one, How you keep going with more midi tracks controlling more vst ? Appreciate this video
FL Studio is a software. You can use rewire to hook up FL studio into Logic. You go through your audio interface when you use an external drum machine, synthesizer, microphone for acoustic instruments, to get the audio from them into Logic
Do you find it's a bit of a challenge with the MPC 3 update? I tried yesterday, and it appeared that MPC 3 projects would not open in the MPC AU plug-in inside of Logic Pro 😞
Sometimes it may be ahead of the downbeat of "1". This happens to me sometimes. Try nudging that first downbeat over to the right. Also, try getting just a hair behind the first beat when you record. Hopefully that helps!
Dude, what’s wrong with you? Why would you use audio out from MPC to go into an audio interface when you can simply get the MPC plugin directly in the DAW… you’re loosing quality, timing and make it complicated when it doesn’t has to….
You just don't understand, you don't need to use ¼" audio when you can get it directly into the DAW... Jeez, amateurs keyboard warrior are worse than amateur TH-camrs.
This is def the way you do NOT want to do it. To not lose creativity through the multitude of steps mentioned here, use Logic Pro for what you choose to use it for and use the MPC software for what you choose to use it for
Context is key here. An overwhelming amount of my subscribers asked me to show how they can use both the MPC and Logic together. This is not my current workflow by any means..
Oh my god, this is horrible! I bought these keys and I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of the connection. This is no good. I will sell them and get others. There should be a warning on the packaging that this does not work well with any software except MPC. Any other keys work fine with any DAW. AKAI's marketing is just a failure Thanks for the video
Can we do a video solely on the mpc app + logic pro? 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Man this was 🔥🔥🔥!!! I really appreciate it!!!

Great pleasure!!

I appreciate it man! 🙏🏾
Yaahn, you done it again! Getting Logic next month and I have the OG MPC One!!! Gonna make some things!!! Thanks Bro!!! 🫡

Found your music on Apple Music. Definitely a new fan!
Yo I appreciate it! Blessings!
I was just trying to figure this out! 🔥🔥🔥 as always . salute!
My pleasure! Thanks for tuning in!

I'll be covering that next week! Your automation should be printed!
@@Yhuntermusic ok Looking forward to that Video to see if that Automation is printed lol
@@Yhuntermusic was it done?

Thank you my bro!!
Should AKAI enable usb both ways and use key 37 as interface like Yamaha Mx ?
Dope nice and easy 🔥

Cool bro! I have the mpc61 it don’t have the usb audio out
6:39 here I don’t see the Akai pop up?
Need a MPCX 3 Standalone and Logic X one ASAP!
I have a MPC One and want to do this with Logic. Can I get audio from the MPC to Logic using the 1/4” inputs on the Focusrite 2i2?

Thanks for tuning in! All of you have to do is select another MIDI Track in both the MPC and Studio One and follow the same strategy
@@Yhuntermusic thank you very much , I will try that indeed
I'm using only a USB connection. Do you have any videos using that method
🔥🔥🔥 video!! Need this for FL Studio 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks a lot! Unfortunately I don't own FL 😮💨🙏🏾 My sincerely apologies!

Can u make a video on how to do this with studio one 6?
Can you do this for other daws as well? Studio one, Ableton? 9-9-24

What cable should I use to connect with the audio interface?

Takes time.. Public Beta is for testing and finding all of the issues. It'll be resolved soon!
Dope.
hi is there anyway to play Mpc expansions into Logic Pro using just the Mpc key 37 (standalone) without it being used as a vst?
Which workflow do you prefer Yaahn? 🤔
Does this work for the live 2 as well?
does this work on mpc one+ great video!
Different button layout but same exact workflow! Thanks a lot!
Why does my audio cut off part of my first note ? And then the midi does the same records before the one

@Spidouz the key's 37 isn't just a midi controller, all keyboards would be done the same way 1/4 inch
