Wire work pendant - 'Blue'

Hi Guys, In this tutorial I will show you how to create a flowing line wire work pendant. I will show you how to frame a stone using square wire. This design can be adapted to most stone shapes, such has oval or pear shapes. I will show you how to create the swirls, add a gemstone accent (you can use a drilled bead instead if you are not comfortable with setting undrilled stones yet).

- 0.6 mm (22 ga) half round wire
- 0.8 mm (20 ga) square wire
- 6 mm round CZ or gemstone
- 20 mm heart, pear or oval cab
- 2 mm beads
- 2.5 mm beads
- 3 mm beads
- 4 mm beads
- 5 mm beads

Hi Nadja, You are so inspiring!!! I have a problem, using .08 sq copper ds and .08 1/2 rd, 3 pieces, Charite stone 35x15x1,5. My stone sets beautifully, I inspect my work, do the bail and start the decorations, when I see the stone is now at a 2mm angle and from it's original position. I can clearly see the angle at the bottom of the setting and I can not move it back. Can you recommend any text ( including any you may have) I can read, then apply to my pieces rather than copying what others are doing. I want to know WHY a designer would select certain wire gauges, lengths et al from others the form the bail and other decorations...
