Seeing you Michael continue the video in big snow, reminds me reading one of your old blogs about motivation -- training in all conditions, good or bad, physicality mental, or elements, we should always treat it like breathing -- something we don't think too much but keep doing it. This motivates me going out and play regardless of weather or time, and I am so happy to see you doing it in this big snow weather without even caring to explain it. This is what a role model does.
36 year old...father of 2 and twice-a-week player here. MLC, You have given me a whole new love for the beautiful game! I try and fit in some of your drills in the evenings...and when I'm having a rest night, just watching the drills helps with my mental stability and mental wellbeing Keep it up the excellent work 👏
That’s amazing to hear Alec! I love that you’re not only feeling the physical benefits, but the mental too. It’s more important than ever to keep that mindset healthy. Glad I can help in any way, and thanks so much for sharing my friend 🤝
Have to love mother nature!! Thanks for sticking it out to create a great and important video of skills for us! Ball handling is critical for all players on the pitch, even the defenders! Love these videos you make, they help me keep my skills sharp and always great to share with all the kids i coach for! Spring travel practice starts next week! Im coaching my 8 year old team and 10 year olds! Cant wait!! ⚽️
i have request that can you bring us a full training session, from house to pitch what you do like streching mobilization, in the pitch like warm up ball mastery , footwork, dribbling shooting and even passing etc drills and at the last cool down recovery and breakfast 😅plz i just wanted to know how much time we have to spend at training because i can't manage it BTW GOOD VIDEO 😊😊
Thanks for ur advices, even i'm 50 yr old i follow ur training system u show in ur videos nd believe i play football every sunday nd wednesday nd play more better than younge people in 20 or 22 yr old
I just played with my friends, it was frustrating for me I couldn't Play well but now as I watched this video, I will practice it to become a good dribler
It can help develop your fast twitch fibres to be more responsive as well as improved coordination, which can lead to some befits in your footwork when dribbling. Ultimately though, the best way to get better at stepovers is to practice them 👍
I think ball mastery is to get more comfortable on the ball so it’s like glued to you when dribbling. I think what could help is, if you try out those specific skills you want to do in a match and work on those until you’re confident enough to do it in a match. Remember that everyone makes mistakes during matches and it’s really all about the confidence and mentality!
Bro, how are you doing? I've been really waiting for your video. When you plan your training week or training, do you rely on any weekly exercise plan? or do the exercises go on every training without any training program plan? I mean, are you already relying on a planned training program, for example (where it is written what you are doing today cone weave, and tomorrow you have a minefield drill in your plan)? Are your trainings built without any ready-made training program? or is each training scheduled on a random basis?
It all depends on what my team/small group trainings look like. I usually tailor my individual sessions to more position specific repetitions, but I cover at least a small amount of all technical areas in every session (first touch, dribbling, passing and finishing). I have a rough idea of what I want to work on, then adjust as needed throughout the week 🤝
how many exercises do you do for each area in your individual trainings? I'm talking about (dribbling, first touch, ball mastery, finishing, crossing) how many exercises per area?
There is no specific number. Quantity is not as important as the focus and intensity you are putting into the exercises. I would concentrate of quality of training rather than quantity.
Hello bro I have seen your knuckleball tutorial and I can do knuckleball easily after that tutorial but when I leave playing football for 2 months I can't my foot contact and knuckleball is not proper give a solution how to angle the foot in knuckleball ⚽
@@7mlc Have you tried the Nike Strike? I like the idea of it being woven into the sock rather than grip pads, as I found Gain the Edge gave me blisters 🤔
Bro, help me. I suffer from not knowing where to start because there is too much exercise. Do I need to work only on these exercises in this video? because there are other exercises like: cone weave, figure 8 and many more, my mind does not know where to start. and do I need to work only with a couple of exercises for a certain period of time, or change them every training? I'm talking not only about dribbling, but also first touch and other areas, because if I work with first touch in air, for example, I don't have time to work with a wall on the ground. share how you act in such situations, if there are any? and please tell me what to do.
these videos are really helpful btw does anybody know some cheap nike football boots around £50 range cus ive been lookin for weeks and i havent found something good
Thanks so much mate! I’m not sure about that price point, unless you find some on sale. But if you’re able to stretch your budget a little more I would recommend Nike premiers or even Mizuno Morelia Neo Pro’s which you can find between 80-100.
I’ve not heard great things about the pure 2 mate, so don’t know if I’ll be trying them or not. The pure 1 was really good though, I could recommend those 🤝
I always try to design exercises based on inspiration I see from how professional clubs train, as well as simulating common match situations. Really effective way to train individually 🤝
There’s no age limit on becoming a pro but if you’re even asking the question it suggests you might not believe in your ability to make it. Self belief is probably one of the biggest contributors to success. Wishing you the best 🤜🤛
